After about a 30 minute drive, michael and lacey finally arrived to the resturant. Unlike the one where her and michael had gone to lunch at the previous week this one seemed a lot more seculeded and romantic. Lacey and Michael were quickly seated once they walked into the resturant. They were seated towards the back of the resturant in a private booth. The light was dimmed and in the center of the table was a lit candle surrounded by rose petals. "What would you two like to drink?" the waitress asked. "i would like a water" michael replied. "And you ma'am?", "I would like a sweet tea" Lacey replied. "Alrightly i will be back with your drinks in a moment." the waitress placed twon menus onto the table before walking away.
"So.....um is there anything you want to talk about?" Michael asked. "Umm....no i dont really have anything in mind right now." Lacey said nervousily. "You seem like something is bothering you." Michael said with concern. Lacey took a deep breath, "Michael, i know you mean well but i dont want to bore you or make you feel sorry for me about my problems.", "Lacey you would never bore me, and im not asking you to tell me because i want to feel sorry for you, i want to know because i care and i would hate to see something bad happen to a beautiful girl like you." Michael reached across the table and placed his hand ontop of hers. "Do you really think im beautiful?" Lacey was stunned because no man had ever called her that, michael was the first. "Yes, and why wouldnt i call you beautiful because you are and if no man sees that then he's nothing but a blind fool." Michael replied. Lacey couldnt help but smile, hearing that from michael made her feel a little better about herself. "Thanks that really means alot michael" Lacey said. Just then the waitress brought them their drinks. "A water for you and a sweet tea for you, you two ready to order?" the waitress asked. "Give us about 5 more minutes please." Michael requested. "Alright you two take all the time you need." the waitress smiled and walked away. "Im glad you feel that way, but why do you think you arent beautiful?" Michael asked curiously. Lacey took a deep breath. "I didnt think i was beautiful because i was told constantly growing up that i wasnt beautiful because i was skinny enough and that no man would want me because i was'nt a size 2." Lacey explained. "Well i can tell you this, none of that is true, you dont have to be a size 2 to be considered beautiful." Michael told her. "Beauty comes in all different sizes, beauty never comes in only one size." Michael explained. Lacey nodded in agreement. "Lacey, i want you to promise me that no matter how many people tell you you arent beautiful, you will not try and change yourself or hurt yourself doing it." Michael said as he once again reached across the table and grabbed her hand firmly but gentle. "I promsie", "Good because you are beautiful the way you are." Lacey couldnt help but smile at what he had said.
Later on, after their date michael's limo drove Lacey back to her apartment complex. Michael then walked Lacey to her apartment. "I had a great time tonight." Lacey replied. "So did i." Michael said. "Well i guess im going to tell you good night." Lacey said as she opened her apartment door and was begining to walk in when michael grabbed her by the arm pulled her towards him and kissed her. "Good night Lacey." Michael said after breaking the kiss. Lacey stood there stunned at what just happened and walked michael as he left...........................

Dear liz,
impatience is not usually my weakness. But your letters torment me.They make me want to saddle a horse and ride to your house(dont ask me how i would cross the ocean),where i would make you explain yourself.
You know,i never thought things would happen this way.i'm planning to attend a seminar simply because lisa will be there.my heart is broken.i'd see her and it would mend.i'd leave her and it'd break again.the seminar is three nights.it will break three times.
But maybe i have lost nothing.she never was what i thought her.so i've lost nothing. she laughed in my face many times before.love is cruel you know? I have to go.write back soon.
Missing you.
Michael.
