I woke up the next morning to a bright, beautiful room. As I looked around the room, I rememebered what happen last night. Michael. I turned to look behind me and see that Michael wasn't in the bed. Also I noticed that there was a piece of notebook paper with writing on it. It said, "Good morning beautiful. As you can see, I am awake. I have something for you downstairs that I think you will really like. I wanted to thank you for last night. No one has ever made me as happy as you had just by your sweet kiss. I hope you are just as happy as I am. And I hope you enjoyed yourself last night. It sounded like you did. Your clothes are at the foot of the bed, washed and ready to be worn. Meet me downstairs in the living room. I love you. Love, Michael". After I finished reading the note, I said to myself,"I love you, too" and then I looked to find my clothes were there.
After I got dressed, I headed downstairs and found Michael at the foot of the steps and heading his way up my direction. "You're awake! I was just about to come up and check on you to see if you were still sleeping. I see you found my note." Michael stopped and looked at me with that beautiful smile he always while walked down the stairs to him. "Yes, I found it. I loved that last thing you wrote on there. It made me smile." "You enjoyed that I wrote about your clothes?" I giggled and shook my head. "No. I love how you wrote that you love me." I wrapped my arms around his neck and I gave him the most loving kiss I could give him. He started to like it because he held me as close as he could with one hand and his other hand on the lower part of my side. "What was that for?" Michael asked. He had a fun, suspicious look on his face. "I kissed you that way because I love you. Plus, I thought I should give you your very first 'Good morning' kiss."
"Mr. Jackson, your brother, Jermaine, called. He says that he really needs an answer about 'The Victory Tour'. Do you have an answer?" Michael's butler said. Michael had a look of irritation. "Ugh. Tell my brother to let me know when we are going to start rehearsal and I will do it." Yes, Mr. Jackson. Right away, sir." As the butler walked away to make the phone call, I was wondering why Michael wasn't so thrilled about the tour. "What's wrong? Don't you want to be with your brothers again?" Michael started to walk away and then turned back and looked at me. "I don't want to join them. I left for a reason and that was because I felt like they were holding me back. I don't want to go back to them and not be me but I also don't want to feel guilty because I said 'no' to my brothers. Either way, I feel like I loose."
I felt bad for Michael. He felt he had no choice because he would still be unhappy. "What if I joined you guys? Bring the REAL Jacksons back together again. That way you and me aren't seperated and you say that no matter what you always feel like you can be the real you whenever I'm around." "I don't know if that would work. I mean, it might but still. They may not want you there because we haven't recorded a song together since you were taken." Michael was acting as if he didn't want me to to it. Almost like he was protecting me from something but he wasn't. He was just nervous. "We can still try. I bet they would love to do it and it would really make the fans happy." Michael hesitated for a moment and said,"I can try and convince them. And I could see if you could do some of your songs if you want." "Make the call."
After Michael had called his brothers and told them that I was joining in, he came into the living room with a present and placed it on my lap. Michael then sat right next to me and rested his arm on the back of the couch. "For you. I think you will like it a lot." I gave Michael a smile and then started to rip the blue and black swirled wrapping paper. I immediately started crying but not real bad. What was under the wrapping paper was a box covered in pictures of me and Michael and his family when I was living with them. There was even a picture on the lid of me and Michael standing next to each other holding hands and waving to our fans from our very first official concert.
"My mother made me a shadow box for me after you left because I couldn't stop missing you. I wasn't coping very well at all. But now I think you should have it." As he was telling me about the box, I opened it and found things that I knew me and him would never forget from our childhood together. I saw our very first album ever released and pictures of us when we were little kids. "Michael, I can't believe what's in here. Why are you giving this to me? This was made for you." I tried to wipe away the tears but they just kept coming. "I wanted to give you this because I don't need to remember the past anymore. Everything that matters now is in and going to be in the present. And everything that I care about will happen throughout our new life together. Just you and me."
All I could do was smile and cry at the same time from looking at the beautiful memories that Michael and I have shared. I looked at him and hugged him as if I was letting him go for a 6 month tour that I wasn't going to be involved in. "Michael, thank you. I can't believe that all the things I have forgotten are now sitting on my lap. Thank you." I felt Michael started to stroke the back of my head and kissed my cheek. "I love you." I kissed his neck and then his shoulder and kept my face in his shoulder while still crying. "I love you, too."
