"Fine. I'll go with pleasure because you never loved me anyway. You were just using me.", she retroted.
"I never used you."
"Whatever and I don't care because we are done. You can go back to Jasmine because that is who you want to be with anyway. You 2 deserve each other and I hope that you will be very miserable together. But if she does take you back, she is very stupid because you are just going to break her heart again."
"Chloe, shut up and get out.", he said.
"Go to hell!", she yelled and slammed the door behind her.
After the breakup, Greg was numb and he did not feel anything. Later that night, he began to feel lonely, but he did not miss Chloe. Instead he missed Jasmine and he decided that he wanted her back.
The next day he decided to call her and tell her that he was sorry for hurting her. He knew that she would probably cuss him out and hang up the phone on him. But he was convienced that in time, she would forgive him and they would be a couple again. He would never give up on her because he still loved her and wanted another chance to prove it. He picked up the phone and called her.
"Hello?", she said.
"Hi, Jazzy it's me."
"Greg, what the hell do you want?"
"I want to talk to you. Can I come over?"
"No, lose my number and don't ever call me again!", she cried angrily and slammed down the phone.
Ok that did not go the way that I planned. I'll just go to her apartment and talk to her., he thought.
After she hung up on Greg, Jasmine's head was spinning. She could not believe that he had the nerve to call her. She wondered what he was thinking. They had not talked to or seen each other in months. Did he really think that she wanted to talk to him after what he had done to her? What did he think would happen if he called her?
The phone rang again,but she did not answer it. Soon she could hear the answering machine pick up the call. The message was from Michael and he begged that she please answer the phone and talk to him. When she heard his voice,her heart went into overdrive and butterflies fluttered in her stomach. She wanted to talk to him, but she could not do it and it was killing her. Part of her wished that he would give up and leave her alone, but the other part of her wanted him to fight for her. It was so annoying to be confused about her love for him.
Suddenly the door bell and the phone rang again at the same time. The sound startled her because she was thinking about Michael. She decided that the door bell was more important than the phone. Maybe he decided to come over., she thought and smiled, but she was disappointed because it was Greg.
"Hey,Jazzy.", he said.
"Greg?"
"Yeah, who else would you be expecting?"
"Anybody else. Now go away. I don't want to talk to you.", she said coldly and tried to close the door, but he pushed past her.
"I can't do that, Jazzy."
"Greg, get out and don't call me Jazzy!"
"Jazzy, I have got something to tell you and it can't wait."
"I don't care.", she said trying to push him out the door.
"Jasmine, I love you and I want us to get back together."
She stopped pushing him and stared at him. She looked at him like he was speaking a foreign language.
"Are you serious right now? Please tell me that you are kidding?", she said quietly.
"I want you back,Jasmine. I made a mistake and I never meant to hurt you. You are the only girl for me and I love you. I don't want anybody else, but you. Please forgive me and take me back."
"Greg-", she began, but he cut her off and kissed her.
