At Q's (Qunicy Jones) house, Michael tried not to think about Jasmine and listen to Tatiana, who was talking his ear off. He did not want her to know that he could really care less about what she was talking about. But he didn't want to be rude, so he just smiled and nodded politely. He knew that Tatiana liked him and she wanted them to become a couple, but he just wanted to be friends. Before he had met Jasmine, he had wanted to see if he and Tatiana could start dating, but not anymore. He did not want to hurt Tatiana because she was a very sweet and beautiful woman and he really cared about her.

If Tatiana noticed that he was not really interested in what she was talking about, she chose to ignore it. When The Way You Make Me Feel began to play, she pulled him out on the dance floor and said, "I love this song. Come on. Let's dance."

Michael groaned inwardly and allowed her to pull him out on the dance floor. He was tired and he wanted to rest because they had danced to almost every song that had played since they arrived to the party. He did not get to say hello to Q or any of the other guests because Tatiana was determined to keep him all to herself. Soon the song was over and Portrait's song On and On began to play. When she heard it, Tatiana tried to pull him out on to the floor again for another dance, but this time he refused to cooperate.

"I'm tired. Let's sit this one out,"he said sitting in a chair.

"No, I want to dance.", she said.

"Well, you are just going to have to find another dance partner because I'm not going to dance right now."

"Fine."

She walked over to Randy,who was talking to Marlon, Jermaine,Tito, and Jackie and asked him to dance.

"Sure.", he said.

If she thought that she was going to make Michael jealous by dancing with his little brother, she was wrong because he did not care. She was getting on his nerves and he could not wait to get away from her.

"Hey, Mike what's up with Tatiana tonight?", asked Marlon.

"Are you guys having trouble in paradise?", teased Tito and Jermaine and Jackie laughed.

"I don't know what her problem is and I don't care. Did you see how she tried to keep me away from everyone?"

"Maybe she's acting like that because Brooke is here.", said Jermaine and Michael rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Brooke Shields, who Michael had dated several times before he met Tatiana was not Tatiana's favorite person. The feeling was also mutual for Brooke. She liked Tatiana about as much as she liked poison. The two women could not be in the same room for 5 minutes without wanting to tear each other's heads off. Michael had never figured out why they hated each other because both of them refused to tell him whenever he asked them, but he suspected it was because that they were jealous of the relationship that he had with both of them because both women wanted to have him to themselves and they did not want to share him.

Q walked over and asked Michael and his brothers if they were enjoying the party and they said yes. Then they thanked him for inviting them. Michael apologized to Q for not speaking to him when he had got to the party and Q told him that it was okay and that he understood.

"Don't worry about it,Smelly." ,he said and punched him lightly on the shoulder. Then he added,"If you really feel guilty, you can perform some of your songs for us."

Michael happily agreed and he sang "Liberian Girl, Dirty Diana, and Man In The Mirror for the guests.

As he sang and danced, Tatiana shot Brooke a dirty look warning her to stay away from Michael and Brooke glared at her.

When he was finished, the guests applauded enthuiscally and Tatiana kissed him on the cheek.

"You were wonderful!", she cried and he smiled at her.

"Michael is always wonderful.", said Brooke walking over and kissing him on the cheek too.

Jermaine and his brothers watched the scene, shook their heads , and laughed. There would be plenty to tease Michael "The Ladies Man" about later.

Soon the party was over and Michael took Tatiana back to her hotel. She tried to get him to come in and spend some more time with her. But he told her that he was tired and he would call her later. Then he left and went home.

After he got back to Neverland,Michael changed his clothes and fell asleep. Soon he was dreaming about Jasmine and he smiled in his sleep.

The next day he called Bobby and ordered him to go pick Jasmine up and bring her to the ranch. He was determined to find out what it was about this girl that made him feel so drawn to her.
