ok first thing u gotta do is forget everything them people say. i mean most of my family HATES him, and say the worst things possible about him, but i'm still a big fan. i don't let others people's thoughts affect me. anyway the second thing to do is LISTEN TO THE TUNES. listen to a song that is/was ur fav. 3: u feel ashamed? don't be. there are 6189 people here who aren't afraid to show the world they like MJ. u just gotta stop caring about what other people think, say, or do. those are their thoughts. get back in the music, watch This Is It, do the moonwalk; anything! u should be able to get back to him :) i did't really acknowledge him a before. it wasn't him or his music, but more his music's age. like it's from the 70s and i listen to stuff like Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez from 2008-2010. but then i REALLY listened to his music. now i'm literally addicted to him. and i don't care what the world thinks! oh i hope you don't let go of him. he's the best thing that's ever happened to this universe!!!

And as for the wanting to get back to the obsession, I would go back and revist all the things that made me love him in the first palce. you don't have to think about what people says .. you have to do what you feel.. my family hates him too.. but i don't care about this, i do what i feel and what i know is right and good. i don't speak to them about MJ 'cause i know they don't understand..; don't let other people to control your feelings. if you love MJ.. just keep listen to his music, look at his movies and see how loving he is!!!!

perhaps its because youre being presured by people who dont like him if so do as my motto says because "its your life anything goes" be who are and you will feel like yourself and you might go back to normal.it happened to me.
it might be you just dont have time for it all now that also happened to me.you need to make time.

or it might just be you dont like him anymore -thats never happened to me- you cant do anything about that.

All i have to say is dont give up on Michael like the rest of the world did, just because of what others say.

My friends HATE Michael Jackson and make fun of me when I mention him but I don't let it get to me because I know in my heart how much I love him and how amazing he was and my friends will never understand that.

Don't give up. You're friends might believe all the terrible lies made up about him but you know that it's not true. Never feel ashamed of your love for him. He was truly an amazing, beautiful, caring, gentle man and tried to make the world a better place. That's not something to be ashamed of.
