the room Michael is in is very different from the one Jay is in.
the tree that Jay is standing next to looks like a weeping willow. But the one Michael is in is not a willow.

Idk if you thought this video or "interview" actually happened. or if you where just wondering why people were laughing.

The people where laughing because that is what people do. they try to fit in with the crowd. Or they just don't know Michael the way we do. There very well may have been MJ fans in the crowd. But they stayed silent or laughed or maybe they just left the room.
Or it could have been just a room of MJ haters.
