Michael Jackson Question

Sorry For That Question , But I Have To Ask It .

I have an argument with one of my friends because I can't convince her that Michael wasn't a Muslim , she can't accept it , she's always saying that he was and that he was murdered by his doctor because of that . How can I convince her with what I think ? I know that his religion is something between him and his God , and I'm sorry for that question cause some would tell me that " it's enough interrupting his personal life" , sorry again . And I just wanted to say to me it doesn't matter whatever his beliefs were , Michael just taught us to love all people , all races , apart from what their religious beliefs were :)

Michael Jackson Answers

Vespera said:
The original source of the "MJ converts to Islam" claim, was an article in “The Sun”, a UK tabloid, well-known for making up stories. The other newspapers used “The Sun” as their source, and merely repeated the story.

When Jermaine converted to Islam, there were rumors that MJ would possibly do the same. In 2008 the tabloid "The Sun" put out the rumor that Michael had become a Muslim during a ceremony at a “friend’s” house, after he had allegedly been convinced by a “friend” to convert. Two of the people who were claimed by the article to have been there, have stated that it never happened. These “friends” are the "Nation of Islam", a political-religious organization. That Michael would’ve joined them is absurd. If you read this, you’ll understand why:

Jermaine got bodyguards from the Nation of Islam to “protect” Michael from "certain" people. One of MJ’s REAL friends said that they in reality were isolating him, wanted to control him and were abusing him as a trophy. (You may have seen videos on youtube eg, where Muslims are claiming that Michael converted to their religion, and use him as propaganda for their faith. That’s one example of the abuse Michael’s friend was talking about.) He also said that Michael never converted to Islam, and that “he died in his bed under a large cross on the wall and believed in a loving God who is above all”. Michael was always interested in reading and learning, also about other religions, including Islam, but he was NOT a Muslim.

Yes , I saw that article by "The Sun " before and showed it to her , but didn't believe it , She also showed me a recent article in which Jermaine said that his brother converted to Islam , I tried telling her that maybe Jermaine did that only for some minutes of fame like anyone else but I couldn't convince her :/

This is from an interview mjjcommunity did with Jermaine: "MJJC: This is kind of random, but did Michael ever express any interest in Islam or becoming a Muslim? There were many rumors swirling around in the months after his death that said he was a Muslim Jermaine Jackson: Michael did not convert to Islam. He was curious about it and I gave him many books to read about Islam. I write in the book how, during his 2005 trial, he returned to the Kingdom Hall to pray. It's fair to say that he died a Jehovah Witness." Source: link
