Sometimes I’m a bit bullied, mostly in a friendly way, for fun, except online where there are really evil trolls. I have family and friends that are fans of other artists, and I’m ok with that, of course, except… if they talk about it ALL THE TIME, then it’s tiresome. I guess they feel the same way about me when I talk too much about MJ. When I feel like talking about him, I talk to another fan, or go online. Other fans are understanding, and never get tired of him. I sometimes get comments about my MJ stuff, but most people are just interested in e.g. what necklace I wear, why I have so many MJ pics on my phone, listen to his music that often, etc. Im openly and actively proud to be a MJ fan, but at the same time I try to not go on people’s nerves about it. You have to be a bit brave to be a Michael Jackson fan, because it makes you a target for bullies / trolls / haters. It’s sad that some fans hide their feelings for Michael, because they’re scared of people’s reactions. The more who are open about it, the easier it becomes to be a fan.
