No, he didn't. He said in his 1993 interview with Oprah that he loves Joseph, but doesn't know him. In Moonwalk, it's the same thing. Joseph may be a mystery, but he loves Joseph dearly with the rest of his family. He's never hated being Joseph's son...at least that's what I think.

I think it's kind of a mixed emotion. Michael didn't like Joe because he beat him as a child and sometimes he lied about it. Also one time Michael left his windows open while he was sleeping and Joe came in through it dressed as a robber and he scared Michael to death. He had so many nightmares about it. However Michael was grateful for his father because he taught him how to make it in the music business. If Joe was different Michael probably wouldn't have been as great.

I think he was confused about like yes he did have his reasons y he didn't like him but then again he he loved him because he started Micheal's career and Michael finished it all by himself.
