I think he did have pet rats. But the name, I believe is of course the name of a song, that's based a movie "Ben" about rats. But "Ben" is one specific rat.

yea but dnt you think its kinda nasty to have pet rats, no offense I LUV MICHAEL though:)my music teacher told me his father didnt allow him to have pets so he kept rats...but latoya said michael had so many pets when he was little zookeepers got to the point where they were jealous
