Why is everyone in this group hating on Prince(the singer...)?

I just sow that pick question... I mean those comments..
only one person said that she hates Prince and you're saying that EVERYONE here hates Prince?????
just because they picked MJ??
as you said.. you like MJ but you like Prince's music better..
I love MJ more than any other artist.. he's the only one for me.. am I allowed to choose what I like??

I don't hate Prince, my mother and I absolutely love Purple Rain (in my opinion, his best song). I never said anything bad about him because I never met him ...

First, it's alright to love Michael and have your own opinion. But thinking Michael is the better musician? No. Just no. He was a great musician, but no where near to how superior Prince was. I'm actually starting to like Prince's music a little more than Michael's too.

Whoever's hating on Prince is probably the same hating on LMP.

Woah woah woah I do NOT hate Prince... He is one of my top 10-15 favorite singers [especially from the 80s], I have a lot of respect for him, I can't say anything bad about him, I can't think of anything to say bad or negative about him. That's why I hate when people compare him to MJ, it just starts drama, they are both unique/awesome/etc. in their own ways and we will all have opinions on who we think is better or w/e. I haven't seen what people were talking about but I had a feeling some of the the MJ vs. Prince stuff would start arguments... I mean I have an opinion of who I like better of course, but I personally can't just sit here & talk bad about the other one... <33

I don't know.But they need to stop, Prince is all that. But I think MJ fans may hate Prince because I don't think Prince liked MJ at all. He refused to work with MJ when MJ reached out to him. And he basically called MJ's lyrics to the song BAD gay. When Michael wanted Prince to be in that song. When he says "you're but is mine". Prince looked at Michael and said" whose gonna say that line cuz you aint sayin it to me and I damn sure aint gonna say it to you". That's a true story. But I do think that Prince is a geneous at what he does. Every body wanted to be Prince at one point.

I love Michael so much. Both have amazing habilitys, Cause MJ can dance and that's his hability just like Prince, his hability is the instruments so that's pretty cool.

I dont know Prince nor his music. I dont think Ive been insulting him, and if I have been I have no reason to and Im sorry. I really try my hardest to respect other artist because I know its not an easy job.

OMGG LOL I LOVE PRINCE like seriously i love when doves cry aND PURPLE RAIN hes talented too...i don't hate him at all he's good too...i didn't know ppl didn't like him....hes good....and his noises that he make are hilariouus lol...and he really needed tht lifetime acheivment award that was long overdue i <3 prince and for all ppl tht are getting mad over this and fighting....come on seriously michael jackson's not the only singer in this world like there are a lot of other good ppl too maybe not as good as MJ bt still they're good

and why do you compare who can play more instruments? can you think of what they get money for? i can assure you that if prince never sang or dance then you wouldnt have this post put up today meaning that the fact he can play more instruments mean nothing to most listen to his songs because he SINGS.

Well Prince was a good artist too but He ( Prince) shaded a lot of people and these are the people who adored him. Also he did act to much like a star, it was a time when Prince was doing a photo shoot and when it was over the man wanted to shake his hand but Prince just walked away. But if that was MJ I do believe Mike would have been nice enough to take the man's hand. I love Prince as well ( not more ) then Mike but I love him non the less, but Prince did have his ways.

Prince is the best point blank and Michael is the best too.I just like Prince better so no hate from me on either side they are both great artist .
