Singer Michael Jackson has become the most "downloaded" artist in history.

According to site perezhilton.com, a count by Nokia ' s Ovi Music Store located in the "King of pop" at the top of list of digital music downloads.

"Michael Jackson has always been a legend of pop music, but the anniversary of his death and his birthday celebrations seems to have revived the fever of Jackson and the fans rediscover songs - making it the most popular solo of all time", said Geoff Roberts musicologist.

Apparently, Jackson is the most popular in India, 26% of total downloads. United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and Finland are the countries that follow.

Beat It is their most downloaded song, followed by Billie Jean and Thriller.

Weekend it was revealed that defence of Dr. Conrad Murray intended to unearth Jackson to demonstrate that the singer died long duration of certain substances and not abuse because Murray provide propofol.
MJ was also "The king of the downloads" !
