HIMself is the proper term. Poor English irks me..Anyway...I do believe he did ONLY to even out his skin tone which was ruined by vitiligo. As far as bleaching it for the hell of it cause he was weird or whatever, I highly doubt that.
He had Vitiligo. It's a disease where something happens with your skin pigmentation and causes you to get blotches of different pigments all over your body. You can see it starting to happen in the clip where he's at disney land/world. His skin is starting to get lighter on certain parts of his face quite obviously. I think it's also might be a reason why he was always covered, until it completely took over his skin.
Some have speculated that possibly he bleached his skin after it started taking over his skin, but there's no proof.
i think u have missunderstood me... i'm saying there's no proof he bleached his skin!! sme have said so... but there's NO PROOF!! read carefully please... ;)

No. And everybody, QUIT GOING AGAINST THAT GIRL. She didnt know that you guys were gonna react this way and she already said her cousin asked that question! Anyway its JUST a question, you guys are just highly sensitive to the topic which is FINE because it shows how much you love mj. But seriously, way to make somebody feel bad.
To all the MJ haters. pardon my language but hell no! Michael had vitiligo and it spread to his entire body and he used make-up to even out his skin. It ran on his dad's side of the family and michael couldn't help it. He couldn't control it. Now stop asking this question and let michael rest in peace!
Only after his death and the autopsy report was published, people started to realize that MJ had told the truth about having vitiligo. All these rumours, that he bleached his skin, that he was an albino etc... none of them were true. People believed the tabloid lies, not Michael, who told the truth already in 1993. For 16 years after that Oprah interview, people still didn't believe him, but continued to harass him. It's tragic... heartbreaking!!! ;,(

I believed it I have always believed Michael he is one of my cousins that I always used to look up to I used to even get mad if he told me something and someone said different
NO NO NO my cousin had vitiligo and so does LaToya and I think I might too (I am soooo tired of hearing this question please talk about something else )
