What keeps a good guy like Michael in an evil job? Shane West (Michael) says it’s all about revenge.

“The true thing that's making him not listen 100% to Nikita and to his own heart is the revenge factor,” he tellsIGN. “He joined to get Kasim, because if he gets Kasim, then he has avenged his wife and his daughter and he can actually move on. Maybe he can retire! Who knows? But until that's done, he can't think about a relationship and he can't completely process what Nikita is telling him in each and every episode.”

But it seems like he may not have long to wait — the object of his...

You’re going to see a lot of stuff coming, and honestly, it’s blowing my mind,” West gushes to TVLine. “The fans are going to be shocked by the end of this season.”

Don’t you wish Michael and Nikita could get back to this point again — like now? Well, says West, that’s kind of what the pivotal April flashback episode is all about.

“We’re currently shooting an episode where Nikita is still working for Division, and Michael is worried about his job and is too focused on the team. You’ll see why Michael pushed her away.”

But that was then, and things have changed for both...

Shane West has revealed that he expects his Nikita character Michael to reunite with the former Division agent.

Speaking to Fancast, West explained that the couple have a lot of history.

"It's not hard to bring Michael and Nikita together," he said. "It's hard to drag them apart."

West also revealed that it is easier for Nikita to forget about Michael than the other way around, saying: "What came out of Michael training Nikita was a sense of respect and a sense of camaraderie and friendship that turned into a genuine sense of love.

"But as she got better she needed to do more missions. She was...

Nikita star Maggie Q has revealed that her character's upcoming kiss with Ryan Fletcher (Noah Bean) may not be a romantic moment.

The actress told Zap2it that viewers will understand "the context of the kiss" when they watch Thursday night's episode 'Free'.

"I like Ryan Fletcher and Nikita's relationship," she said. "They're definitely going to work together and I don't know that it's romantic in that she kissed him out of passion."

She added: "[Nikita] puts him through a s**tload in that episode and, at the end, he's just so mad at her and so exasperated and the kiss is almost like a promise."

However, Q confirmed that Ryan could become a rival to Michael (Shane West) for Nikita's affections.

"We are creating question marks for people," she explained.
Nikita star Maggie Q has claimed that a new twist is coming up in the relationship between her character and Michael (Shane West).

The actress told Entertainment Weekly that the pair will enter a "dark place" in future episodes.

"I think at the end of the next episode, [with] everything that they're going to go through, I think it's going to be a sad thing for people," she said. "Then I think that after the sadness, there may be hope."

She added: "You're going to see a type of vulnerability from the both of them that they don't really ever have around anyone else but each other."

Q also confirmed...

If there’s one thing Nikita knows how to do, it’s cliffhangers. And the one on last week’s episode (the last new episode until April) was one of the best of the series so far. But assuming Michael doesn’t pump Nikita full of lead with that giant gun he was hanging on to, what can we expect from the next new episode? Maggie Q. dished exclusively to EW about it, and gave a little preview of the upcoming exploration of Mikita. (We all use the term; I say, embrace it.)

“What I really like on an emotional level about the next episode is that you’re going to see a new side to Michael and...

Nikita star Shane West has denied rumours that his character Michael will get together with Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca).

Fonseca previously suggested that a romance between the pair "is possible" but West has now told TV Line that the relationship is "not gonna happen".

"Michael can't date her," he insisted. "It just can't happen unless they want Michael to be a bad guy."

The actor claimed that Michael's past relationship with Nikita (Maggie Q) would rule out a union with Alex.

"[She] reminds him of Nikita [so] does that mean he's dated more... students that remind him of Nikita?" he wondered. "That makes him a creep. It just can't happen."

West added that his character's affection for Alex is "more fatherly".

"Michael cares about his students, period," he said. "I feel if Michael were to have something with Alex, it honestly cheapens [him] as a human being."

Here’s what you can look forward to seeing from our favorite non-couple Makita: “You’re going to see Michael and Nikita grow apart, but you’re also going to see them grow back together in ways I can’t explain.” he says. “Nikita and Michael are always connected. Regardless if they’re on speaking terms or not, they will continue to run into each other. You’re going to see them work again together. You’re going to see Michael be a lot more harsh and insensitive to Nikita, but you’re also going to see reality come back in that they still do care for each other. And they’re going to have to do one last crazy missions with some people who I don’t want to tease. And you’re going to see a lot of flashbacks potentially from when Michael and Nikita were together. And I think you will see a kiss this year for sure, but I am not sure if I can tell you if it’s a flashback or in the present.” adds West.
Here’s the good news, Michael/Nikita fans: After months of longing looks, Shane West (Michael) hints we may finally see a smooch between our favorite star-crossed spies. The catch: It’ll probably be a flashback.

"When Nikita was actually a part of the Division in a flashback,” Shane explains to E! Online, “I could simply walk up to Nikita and kiss her. And then fans might see that and go, ‘Oh my god!' Because it's possible to get away with that. The key is, when will they be able to do that in the present? And I think you will see a kiss this year for sure, but I am not sure if I can tell you if it's a flashback or in the present."

Crud. But all hope of present-day romance is not lost: Shane says big, big changes are in store before the end of the season. "Buckle down and hold on because by the end of this season, the whole world of Nikita will look a lot different than it did in the beginning. For us, it feels like a positive thing so I hope the fans will agree."

Maggie Q (Nikita) called a relationship between Michael and Alex “creepy,” while Lyndsy Fonseca (Alex) said, “I think if it happens it’ll have to happen for the right reasons.” But what does Shane West (Michael) think?

Here’s what West had to say about this, “I don’t believe that Michael can be with Alex. What I really need them [the fans] to think about it, besides the fact that Michael and Alex might look cute together, beyond that the reality of it is Michael has had a past with Nikita. He was her teacher and he taught her and put her out on her own. Now he’s doing the same thing with Alex. How many other women do you think he’s done that with too over the years working for Division? Did he date them as well? Did he now suddenly date Alex? Is Michael suddenly the creepiest person in the world? That’s the problem with Michael and Alex.” he explains. “Michael cares about his students, period; but the care is more fatherly for Alex.” elaborates West.

Nikita (Maggie Q):

* Nikita kisses Ryan
* Maggie knows the kiss probably won’t make fans of Michael (Shane West) and Nikita’s sort of relationship too happy, but attempts to clear the air without giving too much away: “What you’ll under stand when you see the episode: The context of the kiss, what she puts him through. I like Ryan Fletcher and Nikita’s relationship because they’re definitely going to work together and I don’t know that it’s romantic in that she kissed him out of passion.”
* In the episode description, it says “While interrogating Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford),...

TVLINE | Let’s start with that steamy promo for “Covenants.” Having seen the episode, I know the answer, but for the fans: Is the romantic moment between Michael (Shane West) and Nikita (Maggie Q) real?
Yes, that happens. It’s real.

TVLINE | How in the world do things get to that point between the two? Last we saw, Michael was holding Nikita at gunpoint.
There is a flashback or two that shows Michael and Nikita when they first got together, when they were both working in Division. So, we’ll see when things were as good as they were between them…and also as bad as they are now, with...

Maggie Q (Nikita) says Nikita’s got an Achilles’ heel (and it’s not her heel, which probably knows 50 ways to kill a man). Now that Michael’s back in her life, we’re going to see more of Nikita’s vulnerability.

Maggie on Mikita.

Q - Is there hope for Michael and Nikita?

A - I think so. In terms of Michael and Nikita, there’s something about unrequited love and something you’ve felt and wanted and was undeniable and couldn’t have.

Q - Not because you didn’t love each other, but because of circumstance.

A - With them there is genuine love. When its deeper than what they’ve actually shown, there’s always a chance when that exists. However that’s going to pan out… there is something very undeniable and electric that’s going to come to a head. They work very well together too, so that will be an interesting to see as well.
Shane West

Shane West has promised that his character Michael will "get closer" to the title character in The CW's Nikita.

The actor told TV Line that fans of the show will be "shocked by the end of this season".

"You're going to see a lot of stuff coming, and honestly, it's blowing my mind," he claimed. "We're currently shooting a [flashback] episode where Nikita is still working for Division, and Michael is worried about his job and is too focused on the team. You'll see why Michael pushed her away."

West added that Michael will continue to be "conflicted" by his feelings for Nikita (Maggie Q) and his loyalties to Division.

"He believes in a lot of what [Nikita is] saying," he explained. "What you’ll see by the end of the year is more of Michael opening his eyes and seeing a lot of what’s going wrong."

He added: “These two are very connected. You’re definitely going to see them get closer.”

In a recent interview with Shane West (Michael), TVLine learned exclusively that the show might be changing direction from how it began. “I just discovered how the season is technically going to end, although we have six episodes [left] to shoot and I don’t know what’s going to happen in each [one]. But if it ends the way they want it to, it’s certainly not going to be at all how it started.” That means a game-changer, right? “I believe that Jayden, played by Tiffany Hines, will graduate [to agent] sometime soon. They’re getting out of the recruit stuff, so we can get out of Division. It opens up the show to more possibilities [next season].” West continues.
