I do wonder at it repeatedly. I really, really, really do not want to go down the path that my brain is beginning to think about….say it ain’t so? Say it soon. Cause it strikes me that the massive success and the word of mouth and the strength of MERLIN was built on the OT4…more to the point, the more screen time, the more attention the series got all over the world. Can that be coincidence?

Arthur was taking Gwen out to the forest, so no one could see them. If his father knew about this well he didn’t want to think about it, he was just glad he had manage to convince Gwen to go on a trip with him. They were walking into a clearing in the woods, they were talking and laughing. Arthur tickled Gwen, she pushed him back and began running from him still laughing. They was so caught up in them self that they didn’t sense that some on was watching them.

1- In 2x10 she choosen to save her sister over kill Uther; because if she was "pure evil" like her haters say, she could sacrifice her sister and kill Uther (but she don't, and she could do it if she wanted because is a powerful woman, but no, she prefer to save her love sister when Merlin "good guy" abondoned/poisoned Morgana);
2- she could be villainess, but she is loyal to persons that loves:
When Morgana was afraid without nobody to help her, who's in her side? Morgause. When Morgana was a overrated, who's respect her for herself? Morgause. And who's protect her when even Merlin and Gaius...

The lightning craked and thunder roared.Morgana lay wounded in a large forest. She breathed slowly praying for a miracle. Merlin ran threw the forest jumping over fallen trees and branches his heart racing. He had to find the ingredient for the antidote before it got even darker.Morgana could hear sounds of movement. So having developed my Merlin obsession very recently, I went online to see what sorts of fan sites, etc existed around this great show and the wonderful actors who play the characters we've all grown to know, love, loathe (perhaps), and lust after. Yes, I am referring to the faithful Merlin/Arthur/Gwaine (ALL the Knights really) fans who regularly comment on the wonderful pictures put up on this site by Naima and others (Thank you!)

First of all:



The title. His fathers son. well chosen. It gave you a wrong impression.
Arthur’s definitely not. We all know. But he gets mislead by uncle
creep (my hate for him grows more and more) and I feard Arthur would
become untrue to himself, temporarily at least. I couldn’t beiieve at
first that he really has done it. It was so unlike him. To kill a man
like this and for this reason.



But he found himself again right in time. And made the right decision.
He acted like I expected it of the great King that he will be.



It was an amazing episode all over!

Here is the Merlin Spot's first FOTM with the lovely Naima! @Lovreangel was kind enough to let me do this interview so without further ado, let's begin. (The questions are bolded, Naima's answers are in regular, and my comments are in italics)

Arthur was standing on the highest parapet, overlooking Albion. He had brought magic back, and united all the lands of Albion in his time, but he was old now. Not as old as his father had been when he died, but old enough that his reflexes are slowing, slightly, old enough that he feels each injury taking slightly longer to heal than the last.

He is alone now too. Gwen had died years before, but she had been the only woman he ever truly loved, and however many times his Court told him he must produce an heir, he couldn’t bring it upon himself to marry another woman. To betray her memory like...

5. Tell him that Gaius exchanged his spell book for 'Cinderella' and he still hasn't realised.

7. Tell everyone in the castle about his frequent compliments to Arthur about him being a genius.

So I’ve been reading a lot of meta lately, and some of the responses I’ve seen have got my hackles up. Read at your peril.

Goddamn but I do hate queer-baiting. I hate the whole concept it represents, I hate that it happens, but most of all, I hate that certain quarters in a fandom will use it as an excuse to discourage/disprove any points a gay ship has towards becoming canon.

With Merlin something I personally came to realize is that good and evil in this show is far from black and white. Many seem to agree that the good guys truly are the good guys and the bad guys are the bad guys. I have a different take; I feel like the villains really aren't that bad, they just want some security...some safety...the ability to be themselves. And some of the good guys (yes my finger is pointed at you Uther) aren't really all that good.

First and foremost, all the villains seem to just not want to be persecuted. Nimueh being the prim example. This woman just wanted to make sure...
