Were you in a tv movie in the 80s about being kidnapped?

Here is the scene I remember. You and your boyfriend in a car discussing the fact that you were terrified to be left somewhere.You had a spat because he did that to you. You stop at a convenience store and take the car keys from him. You go inside. Boyfriend waits on hood of car. Now inside the store is a guy pretending to have a broken arm. He and you to take his groceries to the car because of his arm. He kidnaps you. Boyfriend realizes you gone. Calls cops.. They think it is just a lover's quarrel. Later in life he becomes a cop and tries to find you.
