Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (魔法少女リリカルなのは Mahō Shōjo Ririkaru Nanoha?) is a Japanese anime television series directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, with screenplay written by Masaki Tsuzuki, and produced by Seven Arcs. It forms part of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series. The Japanese Association of Independent Television Stations broadcast thirteen episodes between October and December 2004. The series is a spin-off of the Triangle Heart series and its story follows a young girl named Nanoha Takamachi who decides to help a young mage named Yūno to recover a set of twenty-one artifacts named the "Jewel Seeds".
Masaki Tsuzuki adapted the series into a novel, which Megami Bunko published in August 2005. King Records has adapted several soundtracks and drama CDs from the series. A sequel to the anime series titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's produced by Seven Arcs premiered in Japan on October 2005, broadcast on Chiba TV. A film adaptation of the anime series, also by Seven Arcs, was released in theaters on January 23, 2010,[1] accompanied by a manga series which was serialized in Megami Magazine between November 2009 and March 2011.

My opinion:
It's really AWESOME anime!the character is good,have own personality,not all same.The music is REALLY GREAT all song is meaningful and match for the anime...the animation(specially for battle)is so EPIC and ADORABLE!!! all must watch it!some people say it look like other anime(i don't mention it)
but its TOTALLY WRONG!the character,story is DIFFERENT,you must watch it all episodes to know it!
This anime is really different from other magical girl series,its dark magical girls show,lots of action but also have girls story!
i have seen too other animes is a like from this anime from the animation,character design or stuff.

Taking place ten years after the events of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, Nanoha, Fate and Hayate have joined the Time-Space Administration Bureau and form the Lost Property Riot Force 6. Joining them are four new magical recruits, Subaru Nakajima, Teana Lanster, Erio Mondial and Caro Ru Lushe. Together, they face up against the Jail Scaglietti, a dangerous criminal after the Lost Logia.Following Hayate's dream to make her own division that helps into all kind of disasters, including the Lost Logia cases, Fate and Nanoha including their own trainees, create Riot Force 6. Unfortunately not all can go as planned, because uncontrolled Lost Logia will get in the way of Riot Force 6 and is up to Nanoha, Fate and Hayate to deal with them while training their new trainees and helping with other tasks that arise along the way.
