I don't really consider either of these women to necessarily be a "sex-symbol". But to me, I find that Marilyn was more a flirty, and cutsey girl. Madonna did her things like "Justify Me Love"'s video and wore her infamous "Boy Toy" belt, to show just how much fun girls can really have - what their wild side is more like. She was more of an influence on teenage girls than anyone. (especially during the 80's)

This is really so hard for me to pick. :/ A sex symbol is a person noted for his/her sex appeal (as stated by Wikipedia) & honestly, Marilyn is just all this. Not saying that Madge's sex appeal is not, well, appealing but I just consider Marilyn to be the ultimate sex symbol. Her appearance in various of films/photo shoots are just oozing with sex appeal tbh. After all, Madge is indeed heavily inspired by Marilyn right? <3
