She was sleeping in the cheap hotel bed, her clothes scattered on the floor. And on the desk was her résumé excepted. Around the corner lay another girl around the same age, typing on her computer. Her clothes still in the suitcase undisturbed. On the desk lay her resume accepted as well. Too girls from different place both fighting for their dream jobs both persistent. The keyboard clickety clacked till the moment her eyes shut at 2am.
“Water is my eye Most faithful mirror Fearless on my breath Teardrop on the fire of a confession Fearless on my breath Most faithful mirror Fearless on my breath” the girls alarm clocks woke them up the girl in the west reached her hand down to her unopened suitcase and pulled out a pair of black jeans and a striped T-shirt. She pulled them on and started typing again while brushing her hair. The girl in the east awoke from her sleep grabbing her super baggy jeans off the floor and a plain black T-shirt slipping them on while dreaming about meeting her soon to be boss. She grabbed her brush and pushed it through her hair once and ran out the door. The west girl finished typing grabbed her coat and booked it to her car. They both drove out passing each other not even looking the same way. They arrived at the Princeton plains borough teaching hospital and parked beside each other. They both walked in the front door side by side not looking at each other and walked right up to house.
“Either you too are here for the job or you’re...”
“We’re here for the job” the both said
“So your Regina and Sephora” he said
“Yes” they both said again.
“This way” he said
They walked down the hallway to a room where the most beautiful doctor was sitting all alone. Seph went down and sat next to her followed by Regi and a male doctor.
“Kutner glad you joined us.” “Female patient, late 20s went into cardiac arrest at dinner with BF” “any thoughts”
“Any heart conditions in her family” 13 said
“Don’t know, go ask her.”
“Seph your with my team go with 13, regi go see cuddy, she’s the one with the nice boobs.”
“ok.” They both said
Seph walked behind the love of her life to the room the patient was in.
“Hi I’m your dr I need to know if heart conditions run in your family.” she said
“umm I think my dad had heart problems and maybe my mom did to.”
They walked back to House.
“That’s the problem it runs in the family.”
“Good, then discharge her.”
Meanwhile, regi walked down the hall to see cuddy with her crying baby.
“good your here, one of our hospital attendants was taking over for me but she can’t do my job no more, I need to know if you’ll make sure house does nothing stupid.”
“Ok, you want me to do your job.”
“Yes, I need someone new that House doesn’t know.”
“Ok”
Meanwhile Seph and 13 walked down the hall to discharge patient, as they walked into the room the patient started to convulse.
“Quit I need a crash cart now.”13 yelled
And regi heard it sitting in Cuddy’s office..
