Still half asleep Mac feels a warm body next to his. Still half asleep his hand runs over this soft warm skin. Still half asleep he wraps one arm around her waist. Still half asleep his hand goes higher, wanting to touch lots of wonderful curls, to feel long hair. But there are no curls, long hair but no curls. His hand stops, like frozen. His now wide open eyes see a well known face with closed eyes. No! No! No! That can’t be true! No again! Please!...

Mac sat in his office discussing the job shuffles to acommodate Stella's maternity leave.

"I need another first grade detective Chief!" Mac exclaimed, banging his fist on the desk.

"Well I'm afraid I can't do that Taylor!" The Chief shouted back

"Well do something! I can't lead a proper team with only one first grader, Me!, and two second graders, and a third grader! It won't work! Either put Danny up for promotion, Hawkes up for promotion and find me another medical examiner, I'll have to do the job finding myself!" Mac fumed as the Chief left his office

"Don't worry Taylor I'll find you another...

So the song "The Search Is Over" by Survivor fits SMac so PERFECTLY i had to let you all know, if you didn't already :P

Chapter Three: First Day as a CSI

Stella walked into the lab and spotted Danny sitting at a microscope. She walked over to him and put her arm around his neck.
    “Working hard Messer?”
    “Oh Stella hey how’d it go with Mac?” Danny said getting up and giving Stella a hug.
    “It went well he asked me about Louie and I gave him a brief history lesson of our family. He seems like a really great guy I think I’m going to enjoy working for him.”
    “Yeah Mac’s a good man. He’s a great boss and friend...

Chapter Two: Stella and Louie 1995-2006

    “I called him the next day and we talked for like two and half hours and then decided to go out that Saturday night just for drinks and to get to know each other. Well that went well and so we did it again and then again. Finally Louie asked me out on an official “first date”, and we started dating at the beginning of June 1995. He was such a gentleman; he always opened the doors for me, and insisted on paying for every meal or movie we went too. He was such a sweetheart and really made me laugh. We dated for four months and...

Stella turned the shower on feeling the warmth all over her body and washing away all that poor girls blood off her hands. She craddled her bump in her hands and thought of all the events that had occured in the past three months. It was like a blur but a really good blur.

"Stell? You ok? I'll just leave your clothes outside" Mac called through the door

"Im fine Mac honestly. Thanks" Stella called back to him as she switched the shower off and grabbed her towel,"Ohh! Oh goodness my shoulder"

"Stella! You ok?" Mac called anxiously

"Bloody shoulder," Stella cursed," Its ok now i think I just jolted...
