Actually I don't think I've ever read or seen a light novel..what are they if you don't mind me asking but I do remember seeing all three anime and I'm sure they're just as good as their anime counterpart.

Basically these three series started off as a light Novel. Basically, a light novel is a novel version of an anime or manga. Usually, if a light novel get's more popular then there becomes an anime and then a manga.
