My crush likes someone taken???

Hey guys so the other day I told my crush how I feel about him and he told me that he was very flattered but he likes somebody else one of my friends in fact and it's well-known that she has a boyfriend in fact her boyfriend is my crush's best friend. He tells me that he can only like one girl at a time and for some reason that he needs closure about this girl before he can move on. I really really have feelings for him and I'm very attached for some reason what do you guys think I should do?

That's exactly how I feel when you told me you like her instead of me after I told you how I feel for you" and make him feel guilt into making him go out with you. If you already worked out this problem then great. I guess I said all of this for nothing if you did.
