Girls: Would you rather a guy call you beautiful, or hot?

They mean different things. Sometimes having my boyfriend call me hot is exactly what I need--it makes me feel more confindent, sexier, more wanted. Other times, if you're having a tender moment and he calls you beautiful, it can mean the same as "I love you". So it depends on my mood.

Beautiful. To me being called hot is just guys being guys, beautiful means that he actually gives a crap.

usually all the horny guys at my school call people hot, so i think I'd want someone to call me beautiful. especially if its the guy that i've been so in love with for a year and 8 months...

honestly, I don't really like either. sometimes I guess they're ok, but I don't like bein called hot or beautiful alot. I'd rather just be out havin fun with the guy and lettin him show me he's thinkin it instead of sayin it.

Depends on the guy. If there's a sweet guy that I've been dating for a while and he's always there for me and he calls me beautiful, I would feel loved and appreciated. If he called me hot, I would realize this guy wasn't who I thought he was and I would feel betrayed.
If the guy was naturally flirty at the start, I would feel loved at either nickname. Hot would be his normal way of describing me, and beautiful would be his way of telling me how he privately felt about me.
But I'm not one to talk, since I've never had a boyfriend, and I'm happy about that. I don't want my heart broken at an early age. But I can't wait until I get that little fuzzy feeling when I meet him. ♥

Beautiful for me. i think it makes me feel more...mature is the word? It sorta makes me feel more proud as a...woman. Being called hot makes me feet like im...lower than everyone else, and as much low self-esteem that i have, i don't like feeling lower than everyone else. i like being me. and that's beautiful, not hot. :)

Beautiful. When a guy calls the girl he loves "beautiful" (and means it w/o trying to get lucky), it shows he looks at, not only her outer beauty, but also her inner heart. Her beauty, to him, isn't skin deep, and their love is meaningful, passionate, and true because of that.

When I call a guy hot it is something I call any good looking guy.If i call i guy a beautiful that means i see a cute femine side to him as well something that truly makes me see them in a different way than most guys.

Both words depend on the mood of situation. Guys are guys, and I think when their just being humorous they will call you hot, but if the guy really wants you to believe and know that he means it, he'll call the girl beautiful.

Beautiful. If a guy calls me hot, it's probably in a mocking way... But when a guy calls me beautiful, I know it's real, and that they aren't just making fun of me.

I like beautiful better because hot isn't a meaningful word,I think only retarted boys would say that to you if they love you.I mean on your first date it's fine,but when you really love that person then you NEVER say that!!Beautiful could mean physically beautiful or emotionally beautiful.Hot just means your body is sexy,but I don't think that word really means it!

Either compliment, I'll know they're lying. I guess 'hot' because there may actually be some truth to that. I could be too hot for me to wear my favorite jacket, the room feels warm and stuffy, I could develop a fever etc. on the rare occasions where a guy calls me 'hot'. :)

Definately beautiful. I find the term 'hot' so derogatory towards a girl, I always just felt that way.
Beautiful means a lot more, whearas if a guy calls you hot, he doesn't really give a crap about the real you.
