It dawned on me today while watching the season finally of Lost season 4 , that there can't really be that many survivors left ! I mean think about it ...
1# Out of the Survivors who went with John , only Claire , Sawyer , and Lock survived the mercenaries (everyone else was killed by the mercenaries or the smoke monster) .
2# The Survivors who made it to the boat ... that got blown up there after .
3# The "main" cast members (from the beach , not the tail section) death toll includes : Jin , Michael , Shannon , Charlie , and Boone .
