"LOST": "KIDNAPPING A CHILD"

I was reading this article about the girl who had been kidnapped at 11 and found, 18 years later. And it made me think of the numerous child kidnappings that have occurred on "LOST":

*Ben Linus' kidnapping of Alex Rousseau, Danielle's infant daughter. Ben had kidnapped Alex when she was an infant, against Charles Widmore's orders. He pretended to be her father for sixteen years. Eventually, mother and daughter were finally able to reunite. But they were never able to enjoy their reunion, due to them both being killed by Charles Widmore's hired thugs within a few days....

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (2.07) "The Other 48 Days"

I cannot deny that "LOST" will always be one of my top twenty (20) favorite television series of all time. Nor can I deny that despite my feelings about it, the writing had been flawed on many occasions. If there is an episode that truly reflected my positive feelings about the series, it is the Season Two episode called (2.07) "The Other 48 Days".

This episode is probably my TOP favorite one in the entire series. Before "The Other 48 Days" aired, I had been watching "LOST" for at least a little over a month. In fact, (2.02) "Adrift" was the very...

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (1.01-1.02) "The Pilot"

The pilot episode of some of my favorite television series have rarely impressed me . . . if not at all. There are a few exceptions to the rule. And one of those exceptions happened to the be pilot episode for ABC-TV's "LOST".

Created by J.J. Abrams, Jeffrey Leiber and Damon Lindelof, "LOST" aired on television for six seasons, between 2004 and 2010. As many fans know, "LOST" told about the survivors of a commercial passenger plane crash on a mysterious South Pacific island, while flying between Sydney and Los Angeles. While television viewers got to...

(2.07) "The Other 48 Hours" is the 31st episode of "LOST" that aired on November 16, 2005. This episode featured the Tail Section passengers of Oceanic Air Flight 815 and the story of their first forty-eight (48) days on the island. A controversy popped out from nowhere in this episode and it featured a fellow survivor named Nathan, whose death led to a barrage of criticism aimed at another character – Ana-Lucia Cortez, portrayed by Michelle Rodriguez.

"LOST": The Death of Nathan

The previous episode, (2.06) "Abandoned" ended with the kidnapping of one of the Tail Section survivors, stewardess...

Please note; this article has no season 6 spoilers beyond the 2-hour premier. I'm just compiling this from what has already been addressed in previous seasons, and what that means for storyline's in season 6.

How time travel works on Lost
Its been a long discussed theme that 'whatever happened, happened' meaning that the time travel on Lost is presented as something that cannot be changed no matter what you do to try and stop it. This is called link which is time travel without creating a link. However, with every non-linear equation there is always a variable, and as Daniel Faraday put...

[Shot of Kate walking up the beach with bananas. She finds Sawyer's clothes and a paperback edition of Watership Down.]

SAWYER: [from the ocean] Hell of a book. It's about bunnies.

[We see Sawyer coming out of the ocean naked.]

KATE: [looking Sawyer up and down] Must be cold without your trunks.

SAWYER: You bet. How about you come a little closer and warm me up?

KATE: You sure know how to make a girl feel special, Sawyer.

[Kate walks away.]

[We see Sawyer in a hotel room in bed with a woman, Jess.]

JESS: You're incredible Sawyer.

SAWYER: I love you. Look at you. What do you want, right now?

JESS: How...

Over five years ago, (4.10) "Something Nice Back Home", a Season Four episode of "LOST" aired for the first time and I wrote a review of the episode. After a new, recent viewing, I decided to write another article on the episode:

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (4.10) "Something Nice Back Home"

I am beginning to wonder if (4.10) "Something Nice Back Home", a Season Four episode from "LOST", might be one of the most misunderstood episodes of the series. When I recently viewed it for a second time in four years, I came to a realization that I may have misunderstood it.

"Something Nice Back Home" is basically...

First of all, a small prologue:
(Please don't be too harsh, English is not my native language and it's the first article I write) I wanted to express my views on what I' ve been thinking lately. In the first part of this article, I'm going to write about Charlotte and Daniel and about their love. The second part is about Ben, and how I came to realise I really like him.

PART 1.

In the first Season 4 episodes, it wasn't clear. But then it suddenly became as clear as the sky in a sunny day. A new romance showed up, shyly and quietly, with moments that should be described as sweet, rather than passionate....

Of all the TV shows of the moment; Heroes, 24, Prison Break... there is a lot on offer, but Lost is arguably the most ambitious.

The concept itself expands with every episode and with every new question that is raised. With every season we get that little bit more insight into a world that is so familiar to us... yet appears so different. We have been truly blessed...

Lost, unlike other TV shows of the moment, is an experience of the highest calibre. An experiment of narrative techniques, and pacing that requires the involvement of its audience... but patience also. We have been watching Lost...

CABBIE: The meter doesn't stop unless you get out, pal.

[Sayid passes him some money]

SAYID: Keep the change.

[Sayid exits the cab with some flowers]

[He approaches a house and rings the doorbell, Nadia answers]

NADIA: Sayid.

[He kisses her on the cheek, they hug]

SAYID: Hello, Nadia.

[Two children run into the foyer]

EVA: You're here!

SAM: Where were you, Uncle Sayid?

[Eva hugs Sayid]

SAYID: I was in Sydney.

EVA: Where's Sydney?

OMER: In Australia.

[Sayid's brother, Omer, enters the foyer]

OMER: You bring flowers for my wife?

here's the story line of William Shakespeare's The Tempest:

The sorcerer Prospero, rightful Duke of Milan, and his daughter, Miranda, have been stranded for twelve years on an island, after Prospero's jealous brother Antonio—helped by Alonso, the King of Naples—deposed him and set him adrift with the three-year-old Miranda. Prospero secretly sought the help of Gonzalo and their small and shoddy boat had secretly been upgraded to be more than sea worthy, it had been supplied with plenty of food and water, it had an excellent library and contained surviving material in case the boat capsized....

"THE WRONG PROMISE"

While going over the LOSTTV-FORUM website, I had noticed a thread that asked members how they would have ended "LOST". After reading several other sites and articles about the series, I posted my answer.

There was one thing that I wish Cuse and Lindelof had not added into the script for (6.17)"The End". I wish they had not allowed Kate to promise Claire that she would help raise Aaron after reaching civilization.

I realize that Kate was trying to assure Claire that everything would be all right, once the latter was reunited with Aaron. But in the end, her promise to help raise...

It seems on Lost that being a Leader has always been a key theme, yet Richard has said "There can only be one at a time". Hmmm could this be because of Esau?

firstly let me say we only know about 4 leaders, Locke, Ben, Widmore and Ellie. Out of these only 1 has been killed the others (as far as we know) cannot be killed. Richard makes sure that Ellie cannot go into Dharama villie so she wont get killed. Could this be because Esau (not locke) requires a Leaders body to kill Jacob?
Now with Locke being dead and Richard not knowing perhaps Esau became the Leader?

Deserves more Fans
Deserves more Fans
I'm wondering if anyone else thinks the same way about this. This spot doe's have a fair amount of fans and lots compared to some other spots, however i feel that it still should have more.

I know it has lots more fans outside of Fanpop than some of the spots that have more fans. I don't know how shows like gossip girl have more fans than Lost! How could they! Lost is one of the best things on T.V!

There should be around the 8000 Lost fans at least! It's in the fifth season! I feel it deserves more fans than some other spots that have more fans anyway - but then again, this is probably just because I'm a Lost fan and not a fan of half the stuff above it.

If you are not a fan of lost, it must be because you didn't watch from beginning because it's a great show and you should watch if you like T.V.

Sorry for writing this but doe's anyone else think lost deserves more fans?
Enjoy!

The title of this episode could have two meanings. One is the fact that Locke, Hurley and Ben are looking for the cabin and two, there is the cabin fever suffered by the crew of the ship. The captain accuses Keamy of suffering from it in this episode.

In the opening scene, a 15-year-old Emily Locke is hit by a car and gives birth to John. Locke’s birthday is May 30, 1956. However, she is listening to Buddy Holly’s “Everyday,” a song not released until July of 1957. John Locke may have been special, but I doubt his mother could listento a song one year before it’s released. Chalk this...
