Date Loki, but ask him to be a perfect gentleman around my parents and family, to make them feel guilty. Honostly: I respect their opinion, but if I want to date a guy, then I'm going to date that guy.

There would be little thought in my answer. There is no need to question my decision either- my answer is 'Yes'. Why? Truthfully, i think that Loki and i could have long, philosophical discussions about mundane society, humans (mortals), and how futile their future is. I would love for him to teach me about his people (either the Frost Giants or the Asgardians- which ever he prefers), and magical practises (even if i fail at it XD).

Personally, i don't care if my parents hate me- it doesn't matter too much of what their opinion of me is present. As long i am happy (and Loki is also happy about the relationship) then i wouldn't give a damn WHAT people think. As long as he respects myself, my family (i don't think he would care), friends, etc then i don't see any consequences (except for maybe getting disowned by my family)- i care more about my happiness than my parents wishes. What's life if a few rules, hearts, relationships are broken and ignorance is embraced wholeheartedly? Certainly not worth living nor dying for~.

Funnily enough, I've actually been in a position like this. And I have the same mentality now that I did then: I don't date people for my parents. I date them because I want to date them. I love when my parents approve of and like my partner, but it never was (and never will be) a make it or break it deal if they don't.

If it was just some regular guy, I'd surely think twice before disappointing my parents... but Loki's a special case :) I'd date him, no matter what anyone would think.

I would date him, I mean it's Loki seriously. I'd try and get them to see how sweet he really is, but I'd understand if they didn't like him.
