There\'s no doubt that, in an industry essentially run by middle aged men in suits, Little Mix are in the pop game for the girls. Y\'all have heard \'Salute,\' right? You know the drill. Well Perrie Edwards reckons it ain\'t always easy being a women in the music business; admitting they\'re under a lot of \'scrutiny.\' Yup.

Probably not surprising when she can\'t even post a bloody Instagram pic or enjoy her holiday without it somehow being spun into her \'showing Zayn Malik what he\'s missing,\' eh? Ugh.

Having a chinwag with Maximum Pop, Perrie said: "I think it can be quite hard, especially for a woman, because you can be scrutinised in every way possible. I think that\'s why you need to have a very thick skin if you\'re in this industry and you have to be very sure of who you are as a person. As long as you\'re confident, then you feel a lot better in yourself."

This all comes after the Little Mix ladies talked feminism in last year\'s Wonderland mag; with Leigh-Anne Pinnock explaining: "Girl power is what we\'re about. It\'s what we stand for as a group. We want to do everything we can to make women feel better about themselves​."
