Little Mix Have Replaced Jesy Nelson With A Cardboard Cutout

What do you do when you want to bring your bestie to Japan but she’s at home sick?

You print her face out on a life-size piece of cardboard and haul it around with you! Duh!

Little Mix did just that this weekend after bandmate Jesy Nelson announced she wouldn’t be joining her harmonizing sisters due to a bad ear infection. Although they were “gutted” that Jesy couldn’t attend the festivities, they made the most of it.

“We are gutted that our beautiful Jesminda won’t be in Japan with us BUT we wouldn’t miss this trip for the world!” the band wrote on Instagram. “We are so excited to see our Japanese Mixers! See you soon! 💕 Leigh, Jade & Pez x 🇯🇵🎌🎏✈️ 💮👘🎎🍱🍣 PS. Get well soon Jesy 😘😘”

They were still able to channel her energy for a dance.

Jesy’s cardboard likeness got in on all the action — even making her way onstage with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade (who wore a Christmas tree costume).

I’m starting to think that all bands should do this — like when Zayn cut out of the One Direction tour, or how Normani had to rush home during Fifth Harmony’s visit to Mexico — that way we could’ve still had their spirits there!

Anyway, even though Jesy wasn’t able to come to Japan, the girls still had a blast, dressing up and doing karaoke.
