Perrie Edwards might have kept her split with former fiance and One Direction singer Zayn Malik to herself but an offhand comment she made during an interview with Little Mix might just have made her true feelings on the split known.

If you\'re wondering just how this came up in conversation, it all started when Little Mix headed into UTV for a chinwag about the new album. Chatting about new single \'Hair\', the gals were asked about the story behind it all.

"You know when you break up with someone and they are that word..," Jade said, referencing the use of the word \'dick\' in the lyrics.

But seeming to reference her own situation, Perrie broke in with agreement, saying: "He was just a b***end and I knew it."

As you\'ve no doubt heard by now, Perrie and Zayn split up back in August after claims that it was the former 1D singer who called off the engagement. Since then Zayn\'s pretty much upped and left to make a new home in LA, where he\'s apparently been working day and night on his debut solo record.
