Little Mix CONFIRM new album will be released this year & Rita Ora takes feminism to a new level…
It seems as though we’ve been waiting for AGES for some new Little Mix tunes in our lives, but it appears that we may not have much longer left to wait.
In a Facebook post last night, Leigh-Anne Pinnock admitted that they were putting the “few finishing touches” to the album, and she even confirmed that the album will be released this year some time.
We kind of guessed that there would be a 2015 release in the pipeline for the Little Mix girls seeing as we didn’t get an album release in 2014, but at least it’s nice to have some sort of confirmation.
Taking to Facebook, Leigh wrote: “Just wanted to let you all know that this year… Album 3 is coming!! You guys have been so patient and we love you for that! We’re currently working and writing with amazing people and there are a few finishing touches to go.
“Just wanted to say thank you mixers sooo much for your support… You’re INCREDICLE and we promise it will be well worth the wait!”
After the success of Little Mix’s second studio album, Salute, it must be hard for the girls to follow it up, but either way, we’re really looking forward to what they’ve got for us, as Salute was pretty much amazing.
Elsewhere, it seems Rita Ora has jumped on the feminism train, as she’s revealed that women in the entertainment industry need to stick together, and not turn on each other.
Speaking to The Mirror newspaper, Rita revealed that women should support and encourage one another, instead of digging claws into each others backs, and bitching about one another.
She went on to add that all the big decisions in the entertainment industry seem to be made by men, so it’s about time women started sticking together.
One other artist who is big on feminism is Beyonce, and just ask her who calls all the shots when it comes to her music, and other ventures… we wouldn’t say it’s a man.
“I think people take the word ‘feminist’ really seriously. In this industry, all the heads of labels are men. I have always been very vocal about the women sticking together”.
