Little Mix go all Groundhog Day while Perrie Edwards Zayn Malik have wig issues?

Fans of former X Factor winners Little Mix have displayed an incredible amount of patience as they eagerly await the ever-so-long-in-coming new album that has been in the making for months now…

But when it does finally hit the music store shelves, will it have been worth the inexorable wait?

Well, according to the Little Mix girls, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson, the answer to that is simply, ‘Yes’.

In a video the singers made as a New Year message to fans, Jesy said, “We are so excited to share our album and all of our new music with you.

“Hopefully it’s going to be an even bigger and better things to come year.”

Perrie remarked, “We hope 2015 is an amazing year for all of you guys, and we’re grateful for all the support you’ve given us in 2014.

“2014 has really been incredible for us… It was the best time of our lives.”

Meanwhile, in something of a Groundhog Day moment on Twitter yesterday, the girls wrote, “Just wanted to let you all know that this year … Album 3 is coming!!

“You guys have been so patient and we love you for that!”

Leigh-Anne added, “We’re currently working and writing with amazing people and there are a few finishing touches to go.

“You’re INCREDIBLE and we promise it will be well worth the wait!! Love you all Leigh x”

However, also on the group’s official Twitter account is a message regarding the Edward Scissorhands outfit and wig that was a prominent part of Perrie and her One Direction fiancé Zayn Malik’s New Year celebrations.

Last night, this message was posted on Little Mix’s official Twitter account…

Ok so my battery is dead ! It’s me Zayn and it wasn’t a wig it was my hair just to clarify haha

But sadly, the Instagram link goes to an error page, so it’s hard to tell what that was all about, aside from the obvious joke that is.
