LGBT Question

What are some TV shows that are pro-LGBT or have LGBT characters?

First one that comes to mind for me is Steven Universe. Anyone who's watched the show will probably agree. I can't list any examples because they're either veryyyy spoiler-y for people have yet to watch the show or are just important to character development and I don't wanna ruin that for you.

But trust me, Steveb Universe is a good example.

Wynonna Earp, The Get Down, Sense8, How to Get Away With Murder, Orange is the New Black, and Shadowhunters are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. They all have pretty great representation of canon gay/lesbian/bisexual characters and their relationships(though Sense8 and OitNB could do better in terms of treatment of POC).

- Orange is the New Black has the best representation I can think of of the shows I watch. The ratio of LGBT to non-LGBT characters among the prisoners is pretty accurate, and overall their storylines get as much attention if not more than the non-LGBT characters.

- I like the way Orphan Black handles LGBT characters and storylines, although as I remember it there are only a few characters that actually are LGBT (I haven't seen the show in a while though). The show has some great quotes, such as "my sexuality is not the most interesting thing about me."

- Carmilla is technically a webseries, and in my opinion a rather boring one, but legit all the characters are LGBT, with maybe one or two exceptions of very minor characters. What I like about that series is characters who haven't explicitly said otherwise are assumed to be queer rather than straight.

- Sense8 has good LGBT representation, and sexuality is a lot more fluid on that show than it is depicted on others.

- The 100's lead female is bisexual, which is good, but the show has some major issues with LGBT and POC representation, which I won't go into because of spoilers and also I would probably end up writing a novel-length rant about it.

I could write two novels worth of Steven Universe rants solely about the LGBT characters, so I get where you're coming from

I can only think of two. Modern Family is one because it has a gay couple and they're some of the main characters. Another pro LGBT show is American Horror story. That show actually has several gay and lesbian characters. Even in one season, season 5 Hotel, they had a transgender woman character.
