LGBT Question

Does it sound like my dad knows that I'm gay?

I told my mom one night that I like girls (i'm a girl btw), and she spent the rest of the night reading me bible verses. So yeah, my family isn't very accepting of lgbt people. The next morning after i came out to my mom (i didn't come out to mt dad), my dad said that he loves me and thinks about me a lot (which he doesn't do everyday). He never said anything about me being gay, or anything related to that. He hasn't said anything since then (4 months ago). So does it sound like he knows I'm a lesbian?

it does sound like that..i don't know if you told your mom not to tell to your dad, but if you didn't, it's very much possible that she told him. But i really think you should ask him. i mean, you already came out to your mom, he'll probably find out sooner or later. i hope things will go well:)

Your mom probably told him. I know my parents talk about my sexuality a lot but like your dad mine has never actually tried to talk to me about it directly, just dropped hints. So I would say yeah, your dad probably knows.

It depends on what type of person he is. I'm more of a straightforward guy than someone who drops hints. So, if your father is more of someone who is straightforward, it might mean he doesn't know but your mom said something, that led to your father being considerate without completely knowing you're a lesbian. Or if he's uncomfortable with talking about sexuality, then he just found words that might be very sweet and reassuring, without directly talking about sexuality at hand.
