Ugh, I am so sick of seeing stuff about Peyton being a bad friend to Brooke because she didn't come back for the stuff that happened in Seasons 7-9. **NEWSFLASH** We all know that Lucas/Peyton not coming back for the deaths/births/etc. is OOC for them, but that's not the characters' fault. Okay so I just watched all the Lucas and Peyton scenes from the pilot, and it's so obvious that they were designed to be together. After watching that again, it's really hard for me to see how people can think otherwise! I love the way Lucas is so blatantly in love with Peyton and kind of intimidated by her. It's just the cutest thing ever to watch. Watching LP scenes from season 1 and then some from season 5 straight after is also really interesting. Ever since OTH ended I've been feeling really sad, and the reason is LP:( It's pretty silly actually. When they left, I always thought that they would come back. The hope kept dying episode after episode, but it was always there. Even if by the end it was pretty much dead. But in the back of my head, I had this crazy thought that one day LP would infact return. But now that OTH is over, that possibility is gone and I have to accept the fact that my OTP are truly gone. So in 9x11 I really loved all the Naley/Dan scenes. Like adored them all, which is a first because I never feel that way about new OTH. But I still couldn't help wishing that Lucas was there♥ I know that he dislikes Dan, but I feel as if Lucas would have at least been there for Nathan, Haley, Jamie, etc. And honestly, I also feel like Karen is the type of person who would be there as well.

it's like they're acting as if brucas/brooke had a more significant role in lucas' story than peyton or something. I dont know, I just think doing that in OTH videos looks pretty silly in this stage of the game. the least they could do is include an equal amount of leyton scenes. You know, the endgame couple lol. So... all things considered, I'm actually pretty content with how Lucas' return went. It wasn't anything AMAZING for LP, but I'll admit that Peyton+Sawyer got more acknowledgment than I expected. Lucas' comment about how they "team up on him, and get their way" was cute, and Haley's phonecall to Sawyer at the end was adorable.

So, ofcourse it could have been better. But I was expecting much worse! Overall I just loved the way that Lucas lit up when he talked about Sawyer <333

So, as amazing and sweet as the 5x08 "sacrifice" scene was... does anyone else love the fact that Peyton WASN'T able to truly let Lucas go, in the episodes that followed? I LOVE IT. I love that she tried, because it was the right thing to do. But I think the fact that she COULDN'T end up going through with it is just so... perfect. And the reason why Peyton is THE girl for him.
