I just tole some of my closest friends, my family still doesn't knows anything

i know it's terrible...most of my close friends know...like the person above me...none of my family do. :(

@VAMPirella1997, if people aren't going to like you just because you like other women, then they're not really worth having as friends. Real friends would understand and be supportive, some would even try to set you up...lol. My friends are like that.

I did it ! It was difficult to start, but finally it wasn't so terrible... Now my closest friends and my parents know.
For my friends, they like me as I am, and support me when I need help (it must be said they are gay too xD).
But my parents, they don't want to hear anything about that. They love me because I'm their daughter, but they don't want to know anything else (my mother nearly had a heart attack when she knew I was lesbian, I won't tell her I have a girlfriend and that my friends and me are a gay/lesbian community, she would kill me, this time xD...).

House_Anatomy, I'm the same, I didn't tell my mom, but since she passed away I don't regret not telling her, she was a BIG homophobic, well for me and my bro that is. And my dads not really here so... no parents, I have told my cousins (who are like brothers and sisters to me) my young uncles and aunts, and most of my friends. They all accepted me, but not really a whole lot know, but I'm not scared of what anyone besides what my family thinks so thats all I'm worried about

I've always been out of he closet. We choose to believe that everyone is heterosexual untill they tell that they're not. I don't think that is fair because it's not equality. Therefore I don't say I'm homosexual I just am, just like a heterosexual would just be heterosexual. For example if I had a girlfriend I wouldn't warn people that she was a girl before introducing her. And when I'm with a group of girls talking about hot guys I just plain talk about hot girls. I am the person that I am, I am not a sexuality. You have to be stubborn to overcome that flaw in our society.

I haven't ever denied it, I've just....never seen it as a important detail of my life. I'm bi. If they ask, i would confirm it...But i don't just go up to everyone with a mega-phone saying 'Hi, i'm bi!"

Well part of this is true. I don't advertise my sexuality I just think that's shallow and frankly I have no reason to. Both of my parents know I'm a lesbian as well as my friend (who some aren't okay with but whatever). If someone asks me if I'm into girls I won't deny it.

Give me a week or two...or a month...year...lol, not really.

My friends and family know, and if anyone askes or brings up the subject, I tell them that I am.
