Colm Wilkinson is by far the best!!!!! I was surprised that he didn't play Valjean in the 25th anniversary concert but Alfie Boe did play the role nicely anyway!!!!!

I know it's a very boring response, but I thought Hugh played his part well.

In showing how devoted Rob Guest was to the role of Valjean he had a stroke in 2008 and nearly died on stage during rehearsals

^same here. i think Colm Wilkinson is better in the original London production than in the 10th Anniversary concert. Alfie is amazing. Hugh Jackman played the part really well, but I think his version of Bring Him Home was..not the best. But he was good

jish56 picked Alfie Boe:
I don't know why, but I just cannot get into Wilkinson's portrayal, he was monotone and held very little impact in tone (a good example is look down and confrontation where he has very little inflection in the 10th anniversary), but with Boe, his voice was powerful, and you could hear the emotion in it. He just sounded far better.
