Frank Wheeler as the character is more realistic - Jack Dawson is a fantasy and all wrong for the period depicted - Cute as hell but all wrong - I mean bleached blond hair, perfect skin, perfect teeth and he's meant to be poor??? So although I'd rather date the fantasy of Jack, as characters go Frank Wheeler is better, purely because he's "real" and better written.
