How come in Cursed, we can't see the whole body of the Calthrop?

Usually when a monster is only seen from the waist up it is because of the FX team who move the monster on scene. Sometimes it is because of the budget they can not get a person for the full suit or sometimes not even able to afford the full suit. So behind the scenes you will see one or even two people working one monster. Especially if the monster is only in one or two scenes. Hope this helps.
