You walking along the side of the road, glancing at all the busy people around.
"Someone! Please, help me!" You heard a cry in the distance. Having nothing better to do, you slowly made your way towards it. As you arrived, you spotted a young boy, struggling against some of your old acquantinces, the face hunters.
Glaring, you calmly strode over to the taller face hunter, and whacked his head.
"Stop picking on the Shorty." You said, kneeling down next to the younger boy. "Don't worry, I got this."
"Don't interfere. It's against the rules." The face hunter said.
"Do I know you?" You asked, narrowing your scarlet eyes at the bully.
"Name's Taku. Taku Kirami. Now that you've interfered, let's battle. I could use some more points." he said, holding out his bey.
Scoffing, you shook your head. "Sorry, no thanks buddy." glancing at the younger kid, You ruffled his hair. "I'll take care of this, go home." You handed him his blade.
Nodding, the kid ran off.
"No thanks? You too scared?" Taku taunted.
"Nah, I simply don't fight battles not worth fighting. Opponents like you are too weak." You replied, closing your eyes, getting up, and brushing the dirt off your pants.
Taku snapped his fingers. The two cronies behind Taku stepped up. He snapped them again, and four more from behind. He smirked, and crossed his arms.
"Fight us all." He yelled, preparing his launcher.
"Fine, fine. If that makes you happy." You said, pulling out only your blade. "Kay, let's battle."
The group was confused. "Where's your launcher?"
You just shrugged. "I figured you guys are too weak, and deserve a bit of handicap." You said, holding art your arms.
"Urrrgh. You aggravate me." Taku said. "Come on! We'll show you. 3...2...”
"Yeah, yeah, save the formalities." You said, you held the blade as if it was a shuriken.
"Let it Rip!!" All the hunters launched at once.
"Hmm." You flung your arm, as if throwing the shuriken.
The blade spun with incredible speed.
"ALL ATTACK AT ONCE!" Taku shouted. All the hunters threw their arms forward.
"COMBINED ATTACK."
You smirked, jerking your hand left, then up, and then a fist.
The 7 blades charged at their target, no desire to lose.
You's bey, however, dashed left, hopped up, and then landed on top of Taku's bey. In one swift move, it knocked through all 7 beys at once, letting them all fall at your feet.
"Whaaaa?"
"Too easy. Come on, you can do better than that. Most face hunters are a challenge!" You said, scooping up the beys at your feet.
"Hey! Those are ours!" the face hunters yelled, as You turned away from them, their blades in your arms.
"You don't play by the rules, you don't deserve these." You scoffed.
Taku balled his fists. "We'll make you pay for this. Kyoya will beat you, and you'll sit in shame for the rest of your petty life."
You stopped... narrowing your eyes, you asked, "Who is Kyoya?"
The face hunters smirked. "Only the best blader around. You won't stand a chance."
"Yeah, yeah. Sure he is." You said, walking off. You continued walking until you made it to Madoka's shop. Opening the door, you peeked your head inside.
"Madoka? You here?" you asked, stepping in.
"Yeah, just finished working on this guy's bey." she said, yawning.
"I've got another load, mind checking these out?" You put the beys on Madoka's work table. Madoka's eyes went wide.
"Whoa! You! Wyoure do you get all these! They're incredible!" Madoka picked up Taku's bey, and began examining it.
"Some kind people let me have it."
"What did you do this time, You?"
"I saved a kid. Threw my bey. Got a reward. Same as usual. Hey, are the junk ones ready?"
"Yeah, these are too broken to fix up. Go ahead and find some place for them." Madoka said, handing You a bright green box.
"Thanks, I'll be back with dinner soon." You said, running out the door. You began heading towards your favorite place. It was a tower, right next to a construction site. It overlooked the entire city. To your, it was the most beautiful places you'd ever been too. Climbing to the top, with the green box in one arm, you watched the sun begin to set.
"Hmm. Madoka's right. These are a bunch of crap. Oh well, time to test out a few things." You grabbed the first one, and held it as if launching it like earlier. You flung it out, and watched it hit the ground, and shatter.
Disappointed, you grabbed another one. "Too high."
This time, you aimed it to the left, in contrast to the wind. The bey, however, was swept by the wind, and floated down into the construction site.
"Owww..." a male voice yelled.
You shrugged, and continued with your training. Who cares who you hit?
Kyoya had been taking a nice nap on his favorite floating platform. But something hit him, and he woke up. Suddenly, he heard that his face hunters had come back. Sighing, and rubbing his head, he jumped off the platform and went to go greet his oh-so-reliable cronies. They sucked.
"You LOST? First Benkei, then you Taku?" Kyoya yelled.
"I'm sorry sir! She was just so, so strong!" Taku replied, whimpering slightly.
Kyoya spat. "Not only did you lose, but you lost to a GIRL. You are unworthy of being in my presence."
Taku took a step back. "B-But, she didn't use a launcher! She just flung the blade!"
Kyoya's face softened and a look of curiosity hit him. "She just threw it? Interesting..."
One of the guys behind Taku pointed to the blade in Kyoya's hand.
"Hey, Taku. Isn't that yours?" he said.
Taku looked closer at the beyblade in Kyoya's hand. "It is! Where'd you get that?"
Kyoya glared. "It hit my head while I was sleeping. What were you thinking, throwing your blade at me?"
"I-I didn't! That girl, she took our blades after she beat us, saying that if we don't play by the rules, she won't either!" he stuttered.
Kyoya smirked. "Bring her to me."
THE NEXT DAY
You were walking along the river, when you noticed some guy sleeping in the grass.
'He's an idiot,' you thought 'someone’s bound to just step on him'
You kept walking along your usual morning stroll, wondering how you missed that guy on your previous walks.
"Hey!" You heard, and spun around. But to your surprise, it wasn't aimed at your. It had been aimed at the red-head lying in the grass.
"Ginga, we're having a party, and you're invited." Benkei said, pointing at the boy.
Ginga got up and followed them, since he was surrounded by tons of opponents.
Deciding it was none of your business, You continued your walk. Seconds later, you heard a voice behind your again.
"Ginga! Ginga! Where are you?"
You recognized the voice.
"Kenta! What are you doing?" You asked him, jogging over and hopping over the fence.
"I just met that guy, Ginga, yesterday. He said he'd leave if he didn't find strong enough opponents." Kenta said, his eyes watering.
You felt sorry for the poor kid. Kneeling down, you put your hand on his shoulder. "This Ginga guy, what did he look like? Red hair, white scarf?
Kenta's eyes lit up. "Yup! That's him! Have you seen him?"
"Yeah, some face hunters came and got him."
"And you just let them go?"
"Wasn't my business."
"Sometimes, I hate your personality."
"Don't we all..."
"Well come on! You’re going to help me find him, right?"
"If you insist. I know their hideout."
"What? How?"
"I once knew a face hunter, and then he just disappeared."
"Who?"
"We'll save that for later. For now, we'll find Ginga."
You began walking off in the direction of the hideout.
Meanwhile, Ginga was surrounded by a hundred face hunters.
"We'll show you what happens when you defy the face hunters!" Benkei shouted. "No one survives the 100 bey attack!"
Ginga just stood there.
"3...2...1...Let It RIP!" All the face hunters launched. Beys went flying in all directions.
Soon, You and Kenta arrived.
"Ginga!" Kenta yelled, his getting wet from tears.
Benkei noticed the new arrivals.
"Heh. Seems like we got a couple of new victims, eh guys?" he said, grinning.
Taku looked over, and saw the familiar red eyes of the previous blader he faced. His eyes widened. Slowly, he made his way to Kyoya.
"Boss, that's her." he whispered.
"It's who?" Kyoya asked, taking a glance at the girl.
"She's the one that beat us, the one that flings her blade without a launcher."
--
“Hmm, so that’s her? she doesn’t look so strong.” Kyoya said, resting his head on his hand.
In that moment, Ginga pulled out his bey named “Pegasus” and wiped out the full 100 blades.
Kyoya grinned like an evil maniac. “Now that guy, is someone who is strong enough to become my opponent.”
Oblivious to the entire conversation that had happened above them, Ginga and You began talking, as if they had known each other for years.
“So, you wanna battle some time?” you asked.
“Gladly. Anytime you’re ready.” He replied.
Kenta ran over to Ginga and hugged his waist.
“Ginga! That was SO COOL! You beat them all at once!”
“Yes, Ginga Hagane. We should battle some time. Finally. An opponent worthy of my Rock Leone.” Kyoya said. Ginga just turned and walked out of the site. Kenta followed, and You turned to go as well.
“Stop tyoure.” He said, his voice commanding, yet stable. “You are coming with me.”
“No way, creep.” You turned around and saw the man behind you. You had second thoughts on the words that came out of your mouth.
“You’re coming with me whetyour you like it or not.” Kyoya picked your up by the waist, threw you over his shoulder, and walked back to the hideout.
You began protesting right away. “Put me down! I have better things to do then be here!”
“As much as you squirm, I’m not letting go.”
“Grrrr. FIGHT ME NOW.”
“No.”
“You’re scared to be beaten by a girl?”
“No.”
“THEN FIGHT ME.”
“No.”
“WHY NOT?”
“I’ve got better plans.”
Kyoya brought his fist and it collided with your face, knocking you out.
“Where am I?”
you tried to move, but my arms were tied to a post. At least the captors were nice enough to let me sit in a chair. You squirmed, and thought You felt the chair crack. Real nice of them.
“Anyone tyoure? I’m hungry!” You shouted, trying to catch someone’s attention.
Then he walked in.
Kyoya.
“You’re a pervert, tying me up like this.” You said, lips forming a pout.
“I’m not a pervert, you’re just bait.”
“I don’t like being bait.”
“I didn’t think you would.”
“Untie me.”
“And why would I do that?”
“Because I said so.”
“Tsk, tsk. You’re the one tied up.”
“Then fight me.”
“But you can’t fight, you’re tied up.”
“Then untie me.”
“But you’re bait.”
“Well, I don’t like being bait.”
Kyoya’s patience began to drop.
“Then just sit tight and wait.”
“Wait for what?”
“Just. Wait.” He gritted through his teeth.
“Why should I?”
“JUST SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!”
“No.”
Kyoya’s fists tightened. He calmly walked over to you. You saw his eyes narrowing, locking with yours. His face was only a few inches from yours.
“Shut. The. Hell. Up.”
“No.” You said, still pouting. You were stuck to a chair for pete’s sake.
“You will be quiet or I’ll make you.”
“Make me how?”
With that, he closed the space between your lips, but only for a second.
And that shut you up.
“See, it’s not so bad being quiet.” He smirked, and turned to walk away.
Luckily, you recovered quickly enough for a comeback.
“Hey, Kyo-Yo!!”
“What did you just call me?”
"Kyo-yo. For Kyoya."
"Don't call me that."
"Why not call you that, Kyo-yo?"
"Cause I said so."
“But you stole it.”
Kyoya was genuenly still confused.
“I stole what.”
“My first kiss.”
Kyoya rolled his eyes.
“Girls still care about that stuff?”
“Not usually, but it does matter when it was taken by some freakish guy that tied you to a pole and called you bait.”
Kyoya licked his lips. His eyes made him seem so animal like.
“Then I guess I’ll just take it back then.”
He strode back over, and kissed again. This time, shorter.
“YOU JUST TOOK THE SECOND ONE TOO!”
“No, I took back the first one.”
Kyoya walked out, leaving you sitting alone.
“That jerk. I’m hungry and bored, with nothing but a creep taking care of me.”
You fell asleep, in your oh-so-comfortable chair.
THE NEXT MORNING
You found you could move again. Feeling free once again, you stood up, only to fall over again. Your legs were still tied togetyour at the ankles. Frustrated, you hopped, trying to move forward. The only thing you accompoliyoud was falling flat on your face.
“Good Morning.” Kyoya said, standing over you.
You couldn’t exactly get up, so you turned your head and glared at him from the ground. He just grinned. You noticed the bowl of soup he held in his hand, and your stomach growled.
“I see you’re hungry.” He said, waving the soup in front of your face.
Licking your lips, you tried to drink some of it. He just pulled it out of the way.
“Not yet, you have to do what I say first.”
“And what’s that.” You said, regretting his answer.
“This.”
He walked over, and pulled you into his lap, holding the spoon to your mouth.
“Eat.” He commanded.
You still had a little bit of pride left, so you refused, shaking your head. Kyoya sighed.
“I really don’t want to have to force-feed you.”
You simply grunted in reply.
“If you insist. I can’t have my bait starving and dying, that would be rude.”
He lifted you off his lap, and placed you in front of him, facing him. Kyoya picked up the bowl, and drank some, but didn’t swallow it. He brought his face closer to yours, as you tried to bring yours fartherr away from his. Right when he was about to do it, he swallowed the soup and stood up.
“My match should be here any minute.” He said, glancing at the old clock in the room. Kyoya grabbed you and threw you(once again) over his shoulder.
“Fuck you.”
“You wish.” He smirked, carrying you to the roof.
