Kyle Chandler Get this man an Emmy!

Season 4 is sooooo good!!!

Kyle Chandler is turning in absolutely phenom, featured performances each and every week. The best of career. This season, the writers are throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, at Coach and Tami Taylor.

He plays *every man* in a harsh, rural economy with few options available to him, his family, his town, his players. He also has yet to deal with racism and a myriad of other new issues, up close and personal. Coach struggles, with little to no support and roadblocks placed by enemies. He struggles and fails again and again, yet he perseveres.

This season, he's dealing with most of his burdens alone, as his wife and life partner has burdens of her own. The result: The range Kyle has demonstrated this season has been THE best, performance on television this season! He conveys more with a single look (carrying a crushing burden, fear, disgust, intensely angry, loneliness, dishonesty (to his wife, twice!), guilt, pain, frustration, apathy, stress, going through the motions, compassion, love, intoxication, tireless perseverance, loyalty, enthusiasm, feelings of betrayal, hope, despair, contrition, humility, exhaustion, insomnia, lost, found, shame, pride, loss of hope, faith, inner strength, honesty, integrity) than in pages of dialogue. And we're only to Episode 4!!!

If ever there was a season to hand this man a much deserved, long overdue Emmy (and I would say the same about Connie Britton because they are magic together) ... THIS is the year.
