Orihemia sat in front of her mirror. The very same that the angel had been at only a week ago.She found that the imprint moved around, from her chest to her arm. The dragon suddenly rotated and then suddenly disappeared off her shoulder. "Huh? Where did you go?" A voice like a whisper came to her ear. "I am where I have always been child within you." Orihemia paled as it spooked her. She turned expecting to see the dragon, but found an older version of herself but with black glossy hair smiling back at her. "You have very good lungs." The older one said laughing. "Ah-uhmmm-thanks." Orihemia said blushing. A flurry of rapid knocks came suddenly at her door, the woman merely disappeared and reappeared as the dragon on her chest. Taski pounded till she thought she might have to break it down when Orihemia finally opened her door.
"I heard you scream, are you alright?" Orihemia blushed hard. "Yes, I just needed to release some of my pent up feelings." Taski rolled her eyes and pulled her hair as she combed through it. "Look if he isn't into you by now he's not worth your time as a boy-boyfriend. You're friends that's all you might ever be, there are other boys who would like you to be more then just a friend." Orihemia blinked as if the thought hadn't even occurred to her. Taski groaned and let the subject drop as she came in to scope out the apartment. She sniffed and a chill ran threw her. "Come on up to our place....or better yet lets go hang out at that new place The American Burgers and Fries. Grab something to eat and then see if we can't sneak into that new high rise. I heard it was just for one family...no one person."
Orihemia felt the dragon twist suddenly and nearly rise off her. She rubbed it down making it look as if she was slightly chilly.As they went towards the door she grabbed her purse and the photo of her brother. For some reason she had the strangest feeling,as if she wouldn't be coming back. "Hey is anyone else in the building? Any pets? " Taski thought it was a strange question, but on thinking about it everyone had left and as for the pets...she paled....everyone was out..."Come on Ori lets go." They were sinking down their triple chocolate/triple thick shakes. When fire engines past them and headed towards their homes. Taski pulled out her phone and dialed her mother's number. Orihemia looked towards their home and felt tears well up as the smoke could now be seen rising up above the buildings. Then suddenly she was engulfed from both sides by arms. "Oh Orihemia ! You're alright !" Karin and Yuzu yelled as they squeezed her tightly. Between the arms she saw for a brief moment Mr. Kurosaki as his squeezing was rewarded by a punch in the face from Taski. That made him drop them but not from squeezing just her in just as tight bear hug which was handled by both Karin and Taski. "Ow-ow-ow! I....I think you broke my nose! That's my girls!" Orihemia winced and reached out to touch her healing friends when Ichigo's father put a hand on hers. " I'll be alright. I heal fast and we're in public. Don't want to be tracked down for being a witch do you?" Taski groaned and kicked Isshin out of the way. "Enough. Orihemia come on my mom's going to pick us up across from that monstrosity going up at the end of the road." Orihemia chewed on her bottom lip and her whole face went confused. Taski sighed and put her hands on her hips, she knew exactly what she was thinking, it was about the only other thing in her mind besides school. "She can stay with us, the boys are out at Kura's National Park for the weekend." Orihemia paled. "You mean they are willingly spending the weekend out there?" Taski snorted. "There is nothing out there. No bogyman, no ghost. Trust me if there was I'd have seen....." Sweat rolled off the corner of her brow as she lied. "Oh hell look at the time. Well if you're coming come on, if not I have to split to make it there on time." Orihemia followed her to avoid the uncomfortable questions that were sure to come up if she spent the weekend with the Kurosaki's. Of course it would have been so much better then her dreams if she could have lain in his bed. Smelling his scent, knowing she was-would have been sleeping where he had or would have. She almost turned back but Taski's sagging shoulders said her desires would have to take a backseat to her friend's needs."I'm sorry but I'm going to go with Taski. Maybe next time." Isshin nodded. "The both of you are welcome to dinner any time." She nodded, waved and ran after her friend.
Taski felt the hand on her shoulder and almost shrugged it off.
"I thought you wouldn't come.Or is it because he's not at home." Taski bit out. Orihemia sagged. "No its not that, at all." Taski eyed her in disbelief. Orihemia looked at her sincerely, Taski smirked and took her hand. "Well in that case we better hurry. Especially if we want to get a look at that new high rise before my mom picks us up."
