2019 was a year full of lots of mixed emotions for me. I dealt with lots of new stresses and anxiety attacks, while also accomplishing exciting and fun things with my writing and discovered new franchises to be a fan of.
2019 wasn't a very consistent year for me. However, one thing that was very consistent was the kindness and generosity of my friends on Fanpop. Several people have helped and supported me throughout the year. All of them are great people, who are very important and considerate. The one that was there for me the most and the one who talked to me the most often was Kristen also known as Ktichenor. I became friends with her in late 2018, but 2019 was the year I truly got to know her.
Kristen is one of the most wonderful people I've met and I'm not just talking about people I've met on Fanpop. She's one of the most wonderful people I've met in general. Everytime we talked, she was never rude, impatient, or uncaring. She managed to be one of the kindest and most supportive friends ever, even when she was sick or feeling tired. I wish I could say the same, but I can be pretty grumpy and loopy when I'm tired, worried, or stressed out. I believe Kristen's been a positive influence on me and a lot of her other Fanpop friends. She makes me want to be a better person.
In late February, I dealt with a power outage, due to a nasty snow storm. It was a very stressful week that I'd like to forget. However, one thing I remember in a positive way is that Kristen was there for me. I was barely able to communicate with my loved ones, due to the weather and power problems in that week, but Kristen was there for me. She comforted me and made me feel safe.
When I was sick, Kristen sent very thoughtful and cool images. She found awesome images of Batman. During Christmas time, she found holiday Code Geass images that I absolutely loved.
Kristen is very warmhearted and caring. Even our talks are online, rather than face to face, I can feel the impact of her words, her images, and her hugs.
A lot of times I feel down and stressed out. I often question what the point of my life is. Of course, my family gives me a reason to appreciate life and to always want to look forward to the future. Another person, who makes my life feel more worthwhile, is Kristen. I often do things that could be considered a waste of time, like watching the corniest of films and binge-watching bootleg toy reviews. However, talking to Kristen is never a waste of time. It's time well spent and she makes everyday feel more meaningful and special.

Kristen helped introduce me to the very charming actor, David Tennant, the eloquent singer Billie Piper, and the franchise those two starred in: Doctor Who. Thanks to her, I finally checked out Doctor Who and I greatly enjoy the chemistry between the 10th Doctor and Rose Tyler.
As much as I enjoyed discovering the magic She-Ra, Jessica Jones, Doctor Who, and other forms of media, none of that stuff compares to the magic of my loved ones, including Kristen. She was the hero of 2019 and I'll always think of her as one of my heroes.
