He better not! I will send a strongly worded letter to the writers if he dies in this season. Way too soon for that.

The writers have already stated that season three is the year of the originals. Plus, after all the buildup of Klaus and his being almost indestructable and possibly turning into a vampwolf, I don't think they'll make him that easy to kill off!! :)
