DON'T WORRY ABOUT ASKING ME ANYTHING!!! JUST SHOOT! Well, that's rather hard to explain, I don't know if you'll understand. No it's not a tradition, you are free to choose whether you wear it or not. To make it simple and without essays. It just felt right. I don't come from a very religious family, concerning my father's side that is. We even have atheists there. my mom's family is better, but I never felt pressured to do anything I don't want to do. The thing is, I just had this sort of feeling or premonition or sign, whatever you'd want to call it, that I will be doing the right thing. The environment helped me OFC, having both sis and mom wearing hijab and all. I can tell you I didn't wake up one day and thought that I looked better with it and just wore it, it required a lot of thinking, but then I had this moment of clarity when I KNEW that it was the right thing. To be honest I started thinking about it from the first place just to show a good example of how Muslim women are and could be, because we had a lot of the worst examples EVER. I just wanted to do something you know? Serve a greater purpose. I don't know if you will understand it, because you weren't exactly caught up in the same mess where I was, but let me tell you that: I can regret all decisions I've made in my life, but NOT that.

Sahour, I love Obama. I hate how people in my country hate on him because it is like anyone who got the country in the state it was when in Bush left wouldn't have been able to help as much. And he is trying to help a lot but it is Congress with all the Republicans who disagree just because of the fact he is democratic, it makes getting things done so much more difficult and it is unfair to blame Obama for that.
