many people in this world think of buying a purebred kitten as soon as they want to bring a pet home i'm not telling its not alright but it would be more beneficial if you adopt a kitten,a homeless kitten.stray kittens which don't have home are hurt and abused,insecure and abondened. there are soo many kitten births per day stray kittens more than65% so if you think of getting a little one please adopt one ther are soo many websites sponsoring kittens. give a kitten a life.as soon as you ADOPT ONE YOU WILL KNOW THE BENEFITS OF IT WHICH WILL BRING YOU FOREVER GLORY.

LaughingHyena Yes, that is certainly a good idea. Especially black or black and white kittens; apparently they are less likely to be adopted just because they have black on them. :( Older cats and longhaired cats are also less likely to be adopted, so a longhaired older black/black and white cat doesn't have much chance at all :(

LaughingHyena Black dogs are also shown to be less likely to be adopted than other dogs; however sometimes with dogs the kind of owner they had previously can affect their temperament so occasionally a little more consideration might be needed with dogs rather than cats. Coat colour should not be an issue!

Hale3 I agree 100% that you never need to buy one when there are so many to adopt.
