Oh, and that there will be fewer episodes than usual. And that we will have to wait at least another year to watch it all. Actually, it sounds pretty bad, to be honest.

However, star Kit Harington has given us some hope as he teased details about what to expect... at least with the episode lengths.

"We know we have six episodes – we are not sure whether they will run for 70 minutes or even 90 minutes," the actor said, according to

"There is so much work still to do. We haven\'t put together a full episode yet as there is more filming. The length will be a network decision. But we are busy."

Kit\'s co-star Maisie Williams who plays his sister, Aarya Stark, told

she\'s also still filming and very excited to be one of the few people in the world to know what\'s happening.She said: "It is so much fun now there is only a small group of us left and it\'s exciting to know everything that is going on."

The longer-than usual episode lengths were previously teased last year, but it\'s reassuring that we at least know something more concrete runtime-wise.

Kit revealed back in December that the show would be "bigger than it\'s ever been" in season eight, so count us excited.

"I don\'t know how I\'m going to feel sometime next year when I\'ve finished," he said. "It\'s quite a sudden shift, I guess, but it feels like the right time."

And it really will be the end. When we say goodbye to Westeros after the final season airs in 2019, don\'t hold your breath for a revival down the line.
