Hey everybody, just to let you know that this will be my first Kirby article here on Fanpop. So let's get started.

As you may know that Nintendo Direct has announced a new Kirby installment called Kirby: Planet Robobot. Kirby: Planet Robobot will be released for Nintendo 3DS on June 10.

Kirby: Planet Robobot is Kirby's second game for Nintendo 3DS following 2014's Kirby Triple Deluxe and like Kirby Triple Deluxe, Kirby: Planet Robobot will be running on the Kirby's Return To Dreamland engine. There will be a new copy ability called Doctor Kirby and Kirby will be able to ride in robots that can copy enemy abilities. There's also Team Kirby Clash, a four-player co-op game that lets friends battle enemies together, where player can earn experience points and level up. In addition, this game is compatible with Amiibo where you can use Amiibos to gains Kirby's copy abilities. Example: you can use Mario Amiibo to inherit Fire Kirby and Link Amiibo will let Kirby use his Sword ability

Now, here's what Siliconera has to say about this announcement.

"Kirby: Planet Robobot Announced For 3DS, Will Release On June 10, 2016

By Sato . March 3, 2016 . 2:44pm

In today’s Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed Kirby: Planet Robobot as the newest title from our favorite pink ball of puff for Nintendo 3DS, and it’s releasing on June 10, 2016.

This time around, Kirby will use new enemy tech to take on enemies. There are 10 different mecha forms, all with their own characteristics and effects.

second mode called Team Kirby Clash will let up to four players team up to take on bosses as part of a co-op quest. I’ll also be available for download play, so you can play with just one cartridge.

Amiibo will give Kirby different abilities that can be used in the game, including character-specific abilities, such as the Fire ability from a Mario amiibo, or Sword ability from Link. All amiibo figures will have different effects.

Kirby: Planet Robobot will release on June 10, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.

Thanks, Siliconera. It seems that UFO Kirby as well as Smash Kirby from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror will return in Kirby: Planet Robobot according to yesterday's Nintendo Direct. Also, Jet Kirby makes a comeback too.

I can't wait to pick up Kirby: Planet Robobot this summer. It's nice to see Kirby returning to Nintendo 3DS this year. One more thing, please be compatible with Nintendo Network. Kirby really needs online and yet online still don't support Kirby during the last 8 years. Come on, Hal. Please put online on Kirby really badly. Especially DLC for surprises like Metal Kirby.

What you think? Are you excited for Kirby: Planet Robobot? Please let me know in the comments section.

It was a peaceful, King Dedede-free morning in Pop Star. Birds chirped. Bunnies hopped around. All of the folks are playing merrily, and then there's... Kirby, who was flying in his Warp Star for the reason of feeling the breeze through his light, pink skin. Normally, he'd use the Warp Star as a mode of transportation, but today was the day.

Kirby: [singing] I believe I can fly,
I believe I can touch the sky,
Here in Pop Star I can fly so high.
On my Warp Star, won't it make me cry...

Unfortunately, Kirby had happened to fly too far, in fact, TOO far that he went off bounds from Pop Star and flew...
