Chapter 1:A New Dawn of Darkness
Disney Castle......
"Gawrsh Donald, so whaddya think the kings been do'in this whole time?" Goofy said, scratching his head as him and Donald, tredded toward the castle library. the dark corridors made the castle feel engulfed with a deep silence. King Mickey had been working on something in the library since the end of battle between Xemnas and the Nobodies, and still had yet to have come out. Today, many years later, was one of the few times The king had called on Goofy and Donald, which seemed to only worry them more.
"Oh I'm sure this is just da king telling us he'sh taking a break!" Donald chimed in a hopeful tone. The darkness seemed to almost move with them as the trecked on, moving closer and closer toward the door. Goofy gulped "D-D-Donald, I d-d-don't like the looks of all this darkness" He started stuttering "I's almost like its.....FOLLOWING US!!!"
"Goofy, quit worrying so much! you'll give yourself a heart attack!" Donald groaned finally grabbing the door handle, about to wrench it open."But Donald look!!" Goofy said pointing behind him. The door gave a lurch, and broke open with a giant bang. Pieces flying as Donald and Goofy flew straight into the wall across the hallway. The darkness inside the hall schreeched, swirling and screaming toward the library, toward a dark figure in a black coat.
"Lighten the darkness..."
the voice was soft yet stern, eminating from the hood of the short cloaked figure. Goofy groaned, sitting up and finally noticing the figures presence.
"...K-k-King Mickey?"
"....I am not your King, feeble knight. I am.. a part of him. clouded by the darkness...... an empty vessel...seeking a heart..."
"Huh? but....that means....your a nobody!" Goofy shot up scaredly.Donald finally began to come to, waking up an noticing the figure, and then noticing the fear in Goofy's eyes."HEY! whats going on!?"
"hmph, even a doofus of a knight like him" the figure pointed at Goofy" and head strong idiot of a mage like you should know who "I" am!"He pointed at Donald, his tone becoming angrier."I am the great Xymickes!(pronounced "Zemixs", the e is silent) king over the nobodies! true leader of organization thirteen!"
Xemicks grabbed his cloak hood and wrenched it off his head, reavealing his evil face. Deep red eyes, his resemblance to the king was uncanny, though with an obvious darkness withheld inside. A light blue spiked mohawk inbetween his ears,a blood red scar on his left eye, and a small part of one his ears was missing, like it was shot by a bullet.
Donald and Goofy shuddered, Xymickes continued " NOW! you two better listen up and listen good! I have a job for you!"
"WHY SHOULD WE LISTEN TO YOU!?" donald shouted, raising his weapon at the ready. Xymickes ignored it. " you two have to go to DESTINY ISLANDS! and find the keyblade warrior!"
"but, uh... mr. Xymickes sir...that makes no sense...Sora is'nt in Destiny Island right now!" Goofy stood up and replied, the fear begining to lessen.
" YOUR NOT LISTENING TO ME! I DID'NT EVEN FINISH! you bumbling knight!"Xymickes shouted " JUST GO! when your there give him this! otherwise your king is TOAST!"
Xymickes went into his coat pocket and pulled out what looked like a strange sword. the handle had a heartless symbol, while the rest of it looked like it should've belonged to the nobodies. He flung it towards donald and goofy, it slicing into the floor. And with a snap, Xymickes disappeared into the darkness.
a half and hour later Goofy and Donald found queen Minnie, showing off both the sword and telling of they're encounter with Xymickes.
"Whaddya think it is Queen Minnie?" Goofy asked, picking up the sword and scratching his head thinking. Donald snatched it away from Goofy in a flash. " its A KEYBLADE! its gotta be!!"
"hmmm.. I think Donald may be right Goofy, but if it is one, then where did it come from?"Queen Minnie worried." and even more so, why would Xymickes want Sora to have it?"
"well Queen Minnie, thats the thing! Sora is'nt in Destiny Islands no more....so who would Xymickes wants us to give it to?"
"Maybe he means Riku!" Goofy announced happily.Donald shook his head "NO!.. sheesh... Riku went missing a year after Sora did!"
"But then who could he a meant? Kairi can wield a Keyblade, but she's no Warrior!"Goofy said, the sadness and confusion seeping in again.
Queen Minnie moved toward one of the windows, looking up at the moon. Then said in a low tone " well then, you have no choice.... if your going to find out.....you'll have to go to Destiny Islands!"
"But Queen Minnie!" Donald and Goofy started in unison. The Queen silenced them and continued.
"You have no CHOICE!take Jiminy with you and go!"
"YES YOUR HIGHNESS!" Donald and Goofy said, saluting and running toward the door.

One year later...
"Hey Kokoto! you coming with us to the island!?" a black haired boy shouted happily, running out of the school with glee.
"I....I dunno Akira....I just feel like...if I go again something bad'll happen"The spiky red haired boy next him said a little saddened. Kokoto was a strange child, usually lost in thought while others lived in the moment around him. His blue eyes always seemed to darken at the mention of going to the Island where he lost not only his father, but the his father's old friend Riku, who had taken Kokoto in like his own son. Akira shook is head in disbelief " really Kokoto? its been like, seven years! get over it! it was'nt your fault your dad.." Akira looked over his shoulder to make sure no one was listening, " got taken By heartless!"
"I know.. but he only got taken trying to save me! I can't go back to the island Akira! i'm....i'm sorry..."Kokoto muttered, turning away from Akira toward the direction of his house. The sunset was a deep pink, more beautiful then usual.Kokoto sighed, and started on the road. Akira stared at him saddenly, then began walking the other way.
Akira was the only one who knew the truth about Kokoto's father Sora. Or at least the only one who believed it.
He was the only one who believed Kokoto's father, was a keyblade weilder.
