"The Reader" - she had to act as a young and old woman and someone of a different cultural and time background, which is difficult to do, and still make it realistic. Apart from that, she fulfilled the visual fantasy of about 2 million male teenagers whose thoughts about her were played out on a huge cinema screen. Self-projection was as easy as pie. The "Reader" is more serious but I can see why Titanic is very popular. "The Holiday" is a bit schmucky but nice to watch ....
