Before I say anythign else, I would like to thank NagisaFurukawa- for bringing this to my attention. I would not have noticed this as soon as I did if not for her.
So yes you got it. Riku who has said there was a second season then corrected herself to say it was the movie before waiting for ages for the day the movie actually came out about a year after hitting theatres is here to say that yet another K Sequel has been Greenlit!
I say Sequel instead of Season 2 because while several may say its a Season 2, there has yet to actually be anything...
(Just a brief opinion of mine for the new movie K: Missing Kings.)
READ THE MANGA BEFORE WATCHING THIS. IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER SO TURN AROUND AND GO READ IT XD
Okay so I finished watching K: Missing Kings about a week ago and Ive been able to sit down and think about it for a bit.
Honestly, if you were to ask me the movie as a movie alone wasn't all that great. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't horrible or anything, but it did seem a bit rushed and the center of the plot was a bit confusing. In addition to that, it was a bit anti-climatic...
This is in reguards to my previous article I made (give or take a month or so) a year ago.
Just about two weeks ago I drew myself back into K and read three of the manga along with watched the anime for a fourth time and I feel like I need to correct my previous article
A few months ago I came across the 'Greenlit Season 2' that I wrote my previous article about to find out it wasn't actually a season but rather the movie K: Missing Kings. Which comes out this July. The Anime Convention in Los Angeles CA and Japan Expo in Paris will be hosting the airing of this movie...
North American anime distributor Viz Media announced the English dub cast for the K television anime on Friday. Viz will premiere the dub on its Neon Alley streaming service this summer.
The dub cast includes:
Sam Regal as Yashiro "Shiro" Isana
Matthew Mercer as Kuroh Yatogami
Patrick Seitz as Reisi Munakata
Keith Silverstein as Mikoto Suoh
Stephanie Sheh as Neko
Erin Fitzgerald as Chiho Hyuga
Ben Diskin as Misaki Yata
Todd Haberkorn as Izumo Kusanagi
So, ehem. This is my first article here in "K", and I am only a starter. So please, no haters :)
So, I really think that the ending of the anime K was really heart-touching, from beginning, to end.
First of all, the battle between Munakata and Mikoto are super amazing. I believe fangirls screaming out loud when Munakata removed his glasses? Or... maybe not. It's really nice that Mikoto still believes in Fushimi even though he abandoned the HOMRA, and said that he hates generous people.
Okay, we all know about K's sad ending. Mikoto dies and Yashiro dies, Neko is sad..... Seems like a good and sad ending for this anime. This saddened me till I saw something that caught my sight. K'S SECOND SEASON WAS GREEN-LIT! I actually thought that it is a good ending, but over the 13 episodes, I grew to really really really love K, and I am actually glad that there is a second season in store. Although Im thinking of some questions.....
1. How would they start it off again? Yashiro is supposively dead and so is Mikoto. Maybe Yashiro will be found to be...
